Views like these make any day unforgettable. Have you ridden The Cog yet? Here's what you need to know before you go:

🛤️ The excursion begins at the newly renovated Cog Railway Depot in the foothills of historic Manitou Springs.

🏔️ From there, you’ll board the train and set out on a 9-mile journey to Pikes Peak’s 14,115-foot summit. Along the way, you’ll travel through the Pike National Forest, Englemann Canyon and Deer Park and be treated to stories about the history of the region.

📸 At the top of Pikes Peak, you and your fellow travelers will be given 40 minutes to explore the summit and take in the stunning sights.

👀 On a clear day, you can see 5 different states from the summit, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Kansas.

🍩 Inside the Summit House, travelers can snack on world-famous Pikes Peak donuts, served hot and fresh and created with a special recipe to accommodate the high altitude.
