WID is a national retailer dealing with brides & grooms from across the country inquiring to get married in Mexico & the Caribbean.

Working with the brides, grooms & the wedding party to accomplish their dream wedding working directly with Tour Operators and onsite resort wedding coordinators.

Responsibilities includes,

1. Handling & managing close to 100 wedding groups in a year with the expectation to provide individualized customer service to each wedding couple.

2. Work with Canadian Tour Operators such as Sunwing Vacations, Air Canada Vacations, Transat Holidays & WestJet Vacations.

3. Coordinate wedding planning with all resorts in the Caribbean & Mexico.•

4. Create and manage wedding budgets.

5. Responsible for creating trust & building relationships with the wedding party by showcasing the best in the business.

6. Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment juggling & multi tasking on the go.

7. Responsible for meeting individual clients budgets & upselling planning services

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes,

a) 1-3 years relevant experience
b) College Degree/Certificate in Hospitality or Events Management
c) Exceptional communicator and superior customer service skills
d) Excellent organizational skills
e) Multitasking abilities and time management are critical & Ability to work under pressure
f) Detail-oriented and creative • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Most people (especially us Canadians) start dreaming of a getaway in the thick of winter as we grow tired of the cold weather but be prepared to pay a premium to escape during “high season”. ⁣

High season runs from about Christmas-Easter. If your travel dates are flexible, you can find some great deals when focusing on the months at the beginning and end of the season such as late April/May and November/early December. ⁣

For today’s we recommend that you always pack a reusable insulated water bottle. Not only is it environmentally friendly but this little friend will keep your drinks nice and cold all vacation long and you’ll end up making less trips to the bar 😉. Keep it in your carry-on and fill it up with water after you pass through security. It’s also a great storage container for small things like your headphones, keys & cash ✈️

This beautiful gazebo is situated on a point surrounded by blue water which makes for a fantastic grand entrance.
