What an amazing few days that was!🤩 Took a trip up to Ledge Point last weekend, cannot recommend this spot enough.

Our camp was right in behind a dune and we parked the Utes all around the other side so we were well sheltered.

Woke up the next morning for a swim in the ocean with the doggo I adopted for the weekend😂 will be heading back to this spot soon with my dirt bike so I can have some fun on them dunes😎

Also this spot is only 1 hour 20 mins from Perth so it makes for a perfect one night getaway! Drop me a message and ill be happy to send you a drop pin for it😆

Kalgoorlie Super Pit, Goldfields, WA

They don't call this stretch of land "The Golden Mile' for nothing😅

Back in June of 1893 Patrick Hannon and Thomas Flannagan found around 100 ounces of gold on the surface of the superpit. This caused a massive gold rush with 49 operating mines and over 3km of underground tunnels by 1903.

Since the start of production mining on the super pit, it has produced more that 60 million ounces of gold!! The land around Kalgoorlie is believed to be the most gold rich deposits in the world!

Blue Mountains National Park, NSW

What a breathtaking view this is🤩 Less than an hour of a drive from Sydneys busy city centre. I highly recommend packing the car taking a day trip out here.

There really are some gorgeous short walking trails around here and it is such a nice little area with lots of cafes and pubs. Also the view back down towards the city is a spatular sight on a clear day, so make sure not to miss it!

Barmah Forrest, on the banks of the Murray River.

What's better than getting away camping for the weekend with good food and good company? ... I'll wait😆

Barmah is such a beautiful quiet spot, there are many wild horses that roam around the forrest but unfortunately we didn't have the luck of seeing them that day.

Steward Island/Rakiura, New Zealand

Rakiura or Steward island as it's now known, is the southern most point of NZ. It is situated 30 kilometers south of bluff harbour (well know for its famous bluff oysters). You can expect a fairly rough ferry ride across the open water, however the ferry has some excellent facilities onboard.

The locals there as the most friendly people that one can meet. Fishing charters, kayaking, bicycle and moped hire, hiking tracks and catching up with the locals are just some of the amazing things to do.

The island also has many b&b's as well as a very clean backpackers as I would strongly recommend watching the stars light up the sky as the day draws to a close.

The following morning you can grab some delicious breakfast from some of the cafe's in the town of Oban, before heading out on the water taxi to some of the smaller surrounding islands. Make sure and be back in time to have some of the freshest fish NZ have to offer at Kai Kart in Oban-it will not disappoint!

Purakaunui Falls, Otago, NZ

At just a stunning 12 minute walk from the carpark on the Purakanuni falls road, it is one of the most photographed places in Otago. on your walk down the weathered track and across the wooden bridge you will be exposed to the best scents and bird sounds that the Southland has to offer.

the falls are around 20 meters in height and have three "steps", this only further magnifies the beautiful natural soundtrack of the flowing water.

The top viewing platform is also accessible to wheelchairs and prams.

Toetoes bay, Fortrose, NZ

A strange sight from back in NZ, the arctic winds blowing in from the south coast of New Zealand’s South Island is more tham enough to have these shrubs growing at a 45 degree angle.

These shrubs seperate the popular fortrose cliffs from the local Tokanui golf club. Just an 18 minute walk from the town of Fortrose, from the site you can observe where the 240km long Matuara river meanders its way into the open ocean.
