Here's a nifty tip that could make your upcoming hotel stays an absolute breeze.

If you're a Hyatt Globalist, listen up!

Did you know that as a Globalist in good standing, you can take advantage of the 'Points Advance' feature?

This little gem lets you reserve a room for a future date even if your points balance isn't quite there yet.

So how do you use this feature?

Here are 2 ways you can choose from:

- Reach out to your trusty My Hyatt Concierge 🎩

- Simply hop onto the Hyatt website's chat option 💬 to make use of this feature.

There's no strict limit on how many points-advance reservations you can make.

But, make sure you have enough points to cover the entire stay by the 'Eighth day before your arrival'. 📅

Otherwise, you'll be looking at the standard rate on your bill.

And you don't want that!

So go on, secure those luxurious stays without a worry in the world.

"I booked a flight using cash and would like to upgrade with points. Can I do that?"

Ans:

When it comes to transforming your cash ticket into a premium points upgrade, the main hurdle is eligibility. Not all tickets are created equal in the upgrade realm.

Typically, the more budget-friendly tickets in the lowest fare categories don't have the upgrade option.

You will have to purchase a mid-tier/flexible fare ticket to be eligible for an upgrade.

So, while it might seem straightforward to use miles to upgrade your cheap cash fare, it’s not always possible. And even when it is, only you can decide whether it’s worth the miles.

Crunch some numbers beforehand and figure out whether you’d be better off booking the flight with miles upfront.

In most situations, deciding to use your miles to book a premium cabin seat from the get-go is the wiser choice.

👶✈️ Traveling with a lap infant, a car seat, and a stroller? 🛫✨

Make your life easier by checking in two of the three options listed above.

If you're wondering, no, you cannot check your baby. If you're wondering, no, you cannot check your baby. 've tried. 😅

If you choose to gate-check these items, here's a little tip that could save your sanity and help you travel easy.

Walk up to the gate officers and ask how full the flight is and if any empty seats are available.

That way, you can choose to carry your car seat on board and plop your child next to you in the car seat.

Now, the guarantee of your child remaining in said seat is subjective and I offer no promises of success. 🤷‍♀️

If you do carry your car seat onboard, make sure it's FAA-approved for air travel. ✈️

When you arrive at your destination, don't forget to check the gate for your stroller and car seat. Sometimes they might be brought to the jet bridge, and you can pick them up there.

Flying with little ones can be challenging, but with a bit of preparation and these tips, your journey can be a little less chaotic. Remember, patience is key! 🌟
