Let’s be real—while theme parks are a blast, they can be downright exhausting! That’s why I’m a huge advocate for including a rest day in your vacation if your budget allows. Trust me, it’s worth it!

🌴 No one wants to come home from vacation more drained than when they left. A rest day is the perfect opportunity to recharge and enjoy a little “me time.”

🌊 Your resort has so much to offer! If you’re spending money to stay there, why not make the most of it? Lounge by the pool, relax with a good book in a hammock, or take advantage of fun extras like free movie nights—many Walt Disney World resorts offer them!

💤 Rest is key for everyone, not just the kids. Need a nap? Take the nap. Sleep in if you can. A well-rested family makes for a much happier vacation—no cranky moods or meltdowns from pushing too hard!

Your vacation should feel like a break, not a marathon. So, plan that rest day—you’ll thank yourself later!

Rest in peace to one of the most iconic parts of my childhood, Dinoland USA. Saying I’m sad doesn’t even begin to cover it, but I’m eager to see what Disney Imagineering has in store for the future. In the meantime, I’m grateful we don’t have to bid farewell to Dinosaur just yet—we still have the rest of 2025 to save that Dino!

As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on everything 2024 has brought. Without a doubt, this has been the most exciting and transformative year of my life! I’ve had the privilege of traveling to places I’m passionate about, sharing incredible adventures with my fellow Genies, and—most unforgettable of all—getting engaged to the man of my dreams.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the amazing experiences, and a big part of that is because of you. Whether you trusted me to plan your vacation, swapped recipes with me, or supported me in countless other ways, I’m so thankful to have you in my life.

Harry Potter meets Bake Off in a new show starring the Weasley twins.

James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley, will chat with bakers who are recreating iconic scenes from the film series.

They will be joined by former co-stars, including Warwick Davis who played Professor Flitwick, Evanna Lynch who portrayed as Luna Lovegood, and Bonnie Wright who starred as Ginny Weasley.

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking will air on Prime Video 17 December.
