🐻🦊🐰💦 Change is hard, especially when it comes to saying goodbye to a classic like Splash Mountain. But let me tell you, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🌿👑 has been beautifully reimagined and still has the thrilling drops ⬇️, twists 🔄, splashes, and log flume you loved—oh yeah, you’re still GOING DOWN! Only this time, it’s down the bayou. 🎶

🎷🎵And if you liked the movie, especially the music, you’re going to love this update! 🎉

As far as the “story,” it’s a sweet one that celebrates community, resilience, and happiness 😄. Add to that glowing fireflies ✨🐞, amazing animatronics, and a fantastic soundtrack, and you may just have a new family favorite! ❤️🏰

🫤If you’re still feeling a pang of sadness over losing the beloved pals of the Briar Patch, eat your feelings with a batch of sugar dusted beignets and go take a ride down the bayou the next chance you get. You may just be pleasantly surprised! TIP: Look for subtle nods to Splash Mountain in the standby queue and inside Critter Co-Op. 🛍️

🏰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎉 A big family Walt Disney World trip means big fun, but finding the perfect place to stay can feel tricky. Luckily, Disney has options for every budget and need. Let’s break it down:

✨ Deluxe Villas: For luxury, amenities, and park proximity, Disney Vacation Club villas offer 1, 2, and 3-bedroom options with full kitchens and laundry 🧺. Some are even within walking distance of the parks 🚶‍♂️🎢, making them a magical home-away-from-home!Anyone can book stays in these, DVC membership not required!

💸 Value Resort Family Suites: If budget is the priority, check out Art of Animation and All-Star Music family suites. They sleep 6, have 2 full bathrooms, 3 sleeping surfaces, a kitchenette, and a living area. Affordable, fun, and perfect for families!

🛏️ Multiple Standard Rooms: If you are happy with 2 queen beds (sometimes these sleep 5 with a child-sized bed) and 1 bathroom, then you can stay basically anywhere. Book however many rooms you need, and I’ll even make sure to let Disney know that you are all traveling together to try and get the rooms as close together as possible. ✨

Blizzard Beach is BACK—and better than ever!

❄️ Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened, and it’s had some magical upgrades! 🏖️✨ If you’ve been thinking about using that free water park day perk 🆓 on your check-in day instead of hitting the resort pool, what’s new might tip the scales in the water park’s favor, especially if you’re traveling with little “Frozen” fans! 👧❄️

🌊 The Tykes Peak kid-friendly splash area now features “Frozen”-themed touches with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. ⛄ Just think of the photos! 📸 Plus, they’ve added some new sweet and savory menu items that may give the sand pail ice cream sundae a run for its money. 🍨

⛳ Add to that being able to walk over to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course 🏌️‍♀️ to use the Magical Extra free round of mini golf voucher, and that’s a whole lotta fun on Disney’s dime! 💸🎉

Shrek & friends are BACK! 🧅💚 After Shrek 4-D closed back in 2022, fans wondered what was next for our swamp-loving ogre. Now, he’s returned in a BIG way with immersive experiences and interactions in Universal Orlando’s DreamWorks Land! 🎉✨ Here are just a few things to look forward to:

🛝 Shrek’s Swamp - A play area where little ogres can get the wiggles out and even splash around! No worries, there are walk-in drying machines nearby! 🌬️

📸 Shrek’s Swamp Meet - Get your photo taken with the big green guy himself, Princess Fiona and Donkey. At least when they aren’t busy making waffles! 🧇

🥨 Swamp Snacks - Treats and snacks fit for an ogre...including a Shrekzel, a Shrek-shaped pretzel!

Unpopular opinion...you don’t NEED to buy Lightning Lane access. Especially as a first time or first time in a long time visitor. You may not realize that on many of the attractions, you’ll bypass the amazing ride queue when you enter the Lightning Lane. That’s such a shame. You miss SO MUCH. Some queues you don’t want to miss are:

🎯 Toy Story Mania

🧚🏻 Peter Pan’s Flight

🍯 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

👩‍🚀 Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A big part of what makes Disney so alluring and downright addicting, is the attention to detail. The masterful way they “surprise and delight” guests around every turn. There are a few obvious hot spots around EPCOT to have some wine or spirits, but few have the same level of atmosphere and feel of stumbling upon a hidden gem like 🕌🍹 Morocco’s Oasis Sweet and Sips. You don’t need to use a trash can for your table at this lovely cafe. There are ample tables and chairs for you to take a load off, catch your breath and enjoy a refreshing sangria. Where is your favorite spot to escape it all at EPCOT? 🌍✨

Yes, we’re still in the thick of EPCOT’s International Festival of Holidays 🎄, but coming up (and quick!) is the Festival of the Arts! It may be a short run (January 17th-February 24th), but it is a mighty good time! Chalk art, scavenger hunts, fun and delicious food, family activities, irresistible merch, Broadway style entertainment and some seriously stunning art for purchase.

I’ll be attending this year and I can’t wait! Have you experienced this festival before? What are some of your must-do’s??
