Everyone should have a buddy.
Mine is my daughter Sam.
My opinion may be biased because I am her Dad, but I don’t think so. She is an amazing human that loves other humans. She loves fossil and shark tooth hunting, but even more importantly she loves to share her passion with others.
In March 2023 Sam graduated from HS with honors. Like any dad, I said she should go to college, but she didn’t want to. When asked what she wanted to do she simply stated “this”! (Run tours)
So I purchased a piece of property right in the middle of the Peace River (Wauchula) and buddied up with her to offer walk in shark tooth and fossil hunting tours. This will be our first official full season running tours, and we’re both excited to get out there!
Again, I might be biased, but you should book a fossil hunting tour with Sam.
Her passion is contagious, her desire to teach and share is obvious.
Sam is starting her tours this Wednesday November 1.

Venice beach local celebrity Dan Oneal and Shark Frenzy-Fossil Frenzy Brit, who are just all around amazing people. Harris Captain who we’ve only met a couple times but religiously shares our posts. This is how it began. One shelling trip with my dad, not knowing where it would lead. Even though we had just begun, there’s been frustrations and excitements . Sometimes my camera stopped recording and sometimes the batteries died during the most exciting times! This is real life behind the scenes, not everything is perfect and goes always as planned. Six months ago I would have never imagined I’d be doing what I am, I had just gotten injured and had not known if I would of been able to keep my fingers. Luckily, there were different plans in store. I ended up being able to keep my fingers and moved to Florida! It has been an awesome thing that happened because I got to start my shelling channel! 2021 has been a crazy year but also amazing! I can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store!
