I’ve tried to write a 2024 post like several times now. I can’t decide which photos to post or what videos to make into a reel or even what to say. I decided on photos and then I couldn’t decide how to narrow it down to just 20 memories from this past year. Because man, it was a great one.

I decided on this photo because without this career I have made for myself, I wouldn’t have had any of the memories. And the reason I do this is to have these unforgettable adventures with my family and friends.

Recap of 2024

Career
Hit 7M in sales, took over as the head of the Operatjons Division in the agency, grew the Operatjons team to 13 people, have worked with a leadership coach to lean into these skills even more and have loved every minute of it

Personal
Really leaning into the sports mom life these days and working hard towards financial freedom. Lost 2 of our fur babies this year and adopted our Juneau. Worked hard and was sick for months on Wevovy to lose 30 lbs only to gain 2/3 of it back in about 8 weeks after stopping. This has been the hardest part of the year for me. I struggle A TON with self image, my weight especially. And my confidence is very low right now. I find it hard to think glass half full so the progress I lost on my weight journey has been overtaking all the other good things that have happened. I wish I could be the person that looks at everything else and is happy because of it but weight being such a big deal in my mind brings everything down.

Travel less (I know!) to help move our financial goals along faster. Or travel cheaper and with family 🙃

Wow. This weekend was incredible. I’m currently sitting at the airport, going through my photos and already missing everyone. 20 photos was not enough to share. We had so many great times this weekend but something pretty special happened…

We had our awards ceremony for the agency. I received a Top Producer which I had already known about. And then I received Top Sales Agent in my category for 2024. But then, there was a final award of the morning. This was not included in our poll for the agency so LJ chose this one; The Lifetime Achievement Award. 🥰😭

As I listened to LJs words, I thought this could be me but you know this is a huge award. It could have been anyone in our leadership team. They are all such hardworking women. When LJ called my name, I was so happy. This agency is my passion. I love helping my clients and I love helping all of the women in this business succeed. I want to help them grow their businesses and see their potential. To be recognized for this was the ultimate achievement. LJs words were so kind and I’m kinda like, uhh can someone pinch me?!

I know I’m an achiever but I have been pushed these last 5 years to grow and have had an environment where I have been able to thrive and succeed. You know I struggle with imposter syndrome, like do I deserve this recognition? it’s hard to celebrate myself sometimes. I joke that I’m the best and the queen (as soon in the last photo) 🙃I really do work so hard and am so passionate about this agency.

I am so grateful for LJ and our entire leadership team, to my best friends who are always there for me, to my team (operations and skyliner) for believing in me and trusting me to lead them, to my clients who trust me with their vacations, to my FAMILY for their unwavering support and to God for all the blessings He gives every day.

I love you all and THANK YOU!!!

You make me crazy. You make me worry. You make me happy. You make me sad. You make me proud. You make me feel all the feelings, but I’m pretty sure that is what being a parent is all about. More than anything, you make me feel LOVE.

You are my best friend, Hannah. We are just getting started into these pre-teen/teen years but we will get through them. No matter what though, I will love you through it all. And be here for every moment of it. ❤️

Core Memory right here. 😍 I have been to SO many parties between Halloween and Christmas and we have never waited to meet Jack and Sally!! The line is always so long, like 2+ hours. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to pay for party time to stand in line the whole night. It’s just such a bummer that the parties are the only way to meet these two. During the Christmas party (start of Thanksgiving break!), we went to the first parade of the night. We did our viewing at the very front of Main St in front of the emporium. If you didn’t know, Jack and Sally meet inside Town hall which is right up front! So, as soon as the parade was over, we bolted over to the line and guess what?!?! We waited less than 15 minutes!!! I couldn’t believe it. I’m definitely going to be using this method to meet them again at the Halloween Party!! Have you ever met them?
