Howdy Friends!

We would like to wish you a warm welcome as our future guests at the Griffin River House! As native Floridians, we would make it an annual summer retreat with friends and family to tube down the beautiful, crystal clear waters of the Rainbow River. When our twins were old enough to learn how to kayak, we decided to look for a place of our own to stay and enjoy all that Dunnellon has to offer. We purchased the Griffin River House in July of 2018. After a few weekends of remodeling (and a little fun in between), our house was ready to share with the world!

We wanted other families to be able to take an amazing, affordable vacation with all the comfort and amenities as home. Whether you are here on vacation or business, we hope you will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful Rainbow Springs Park, local boutique shops, and authentic “mom & pop” restaurants in the area. As our guests, you are welcome to take the complimentary kayaks out on the river, BBQ on the grill, or just relax by the poolside. We modeled the Griffin River House to cater to families and animal lovers alike. Fido is always welcome! Take a picture and tag yourself at #griffinriverhouse in front of the wooden Florida map (locally made).
