A Hiligaynon term that expresses the idea of embarking on a journey of travel and adventure

We are about to prepare for a year-long adventure by packing essential items in our bags, just like travelers. But instead of just physical items, we're also bringing information about our college, the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. We're filling in the gaps in our knowledge to prepare for the journey ahead.

On our college orientation day on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, we will mark the start of a new academic year. We'd like to invite our new freshmen to join us. During this annual event, we will be providing important college information.

We also welcome back our sophomores, juniors, and seniors to refresh their memories and help us warmly welcome the freshmen into our very own college.

Class TME131, under the advisory of Sir Sean Wilfred B. Cayunda, headed by Mr. Abdullah M. Sangcopan and in partnership with the LGU of Balindong, Tourism Management Department, and Les' Turista Society, organized and conducted a cultural heritage seminar with the theme "Ewatones' Role in Nurturing the Meranao Legacy". The Seminar aimed to promote the Meranao culture and empower the participants, from MSU-BALINDONG Community Highschool and Balindong National Highschool, with cultural identity.

The opening remarks was delivered by the municipal tourism officer of Balindong, Mr. Deenul Hanef Serad, while the closing remarks was delivered by the Tourism Management Department Chairperson, Ma'am Anne Fatimah G. Latip-Mangondato.

We sincerely thank our Resources speaker, Mr. Maguidala-Usman Bedar ll, for sharing his inspirational topic and the mayor of Balindong, Hon. Amer-Reggie L. Bagul, for his utmost support in conducting this seminar!

- Resulution to appoint Ms. Claire Jean M. Enopia as Student Consultant‚
- The College‘s 43rd Founding Anniversary preparation
- Student Councils Constitution and By-Laws creation
- and Strategic Planning and Team Building Proposal.

The meeting was attended by the whole Les’ Tourista Society officers‚ and the newly elected SHARP President, Mr. Hani S. Maruhom and the SHARP OIC Secratary, Ms. Zulaika Maekaela P. Salazar.
