A novelty at this years Vukovar Advent is a 3D Christmas search which will be running throughout December. Using an app, visitors can look for famous 3D-animated characters in an AR of the streets of Vukovar. There will also be creative workshops, shows, storytimes, and a Disney Christmas in the City Library, organized in honor of Disney’s 100 anniversary. The highest peak of Biokovo is Sveti Jure (1762 m), and the city of Makarska lies at the foot of this mountain. The picturesque Old Town of Ozalj, standing on a cliff above the Kupa River, is a real gem of the region. The first records of the castle date from the 13th century, and over time it has changed owners many times, surviving major robberies and changes in appearance. Like many castles and fortresses in the area, the Old Town of Ozalj was also owned by the Houses Frankopan and Zrinski, two of the most important and famous Croatian noble families. Today it houses the Ozalj Local History Museum, where you can see many exhibitions and get acquainted with the history of the castle and the entire Ozalj region.
