▪️Going to Siesta Key Beach with a stop for a sandwich at , a daiquiri to go from or a drink at the

▪️St Armand’s Circle and Lido Key. Shop for a while, have lunch, then take a short walk over to the beach.

The story behind The Siesta House🏡🤍

It’s been our dream for many years to someday start a vacation rental.

Every time we’d visit a new place and experience an Airbnb stay, we’d find ourselves inspired by hosts who nailed certain elements of the experience, but would also find that we missed the comforts of our home while we were away. If we ever had the chance to make a place our own, we knew exactly how we’d want people to feel when they stayed with us.

The Siesta House holds a special place in our hearts because it was previously owned by Josh’s parents. We’ve been going there since our kids were babies. Sarasota has naturally become our home away from home. In the 11 years that Josh’s parents lived there, they remodeled and transformed the place into the beautiful home that it is today, through their vision and hard work that they did entirely on their own. We’ve added our touches to create a space that we think is extra special and want to share with you.

The lanai is outfitted with two twin size beds. Perfect for kids and can be used for sleeping in cooler weather, or anyone that needs a siesta.

There are many options to get around:

Affordable rates can be found located 0.4 miles or a 9 minute walk The Siesta House. A great way to get around

▪️Walking
In the same shopping center (0.4 miles or a 9 minute walk) as the bike rental, you’ll find everything you need from casual dining to the grocery store (), to and more

And whether you choose to bike or walk, don’t miss eating at Millie’s for breakfast

▪️Trolley
The Siesta Key Breeze Trolley is free and runs 8am to 10pm

“As Airbnb’s go, Siesta house is one of the best! The location is on a quiet street and very convenient to the local beaches.

Everything in the house is top notch…beds, linens, furniture and kitchen needs.
The lanai and back yard are great places to relax, drink your coffee and enjoy the sunshine.
Extras include beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and games galore! The house was so clean!

WiFi was excellent for working remotely. We would stay here again! Josh and Tai are great hosts and easy to communicate with. Thanks for making this a wonderful work/vacation.”

We love kayaking with the team at Kayaking SRQ Tours and Rentals

Explore the mangroves, homes and nearby sandbars. Rentals are 2-3 hours or consider taking a guided tour!
