REVIEW
‘What a treasure! We set about finding holiday accommodation for my husband and I and our two grown up children, 18 and 30, a few weeks back in Donegal. Travelling from our city dwelling in Dublin we wanted to experience the beauty and ruggedness of Donegal but also to enjoy some home comforts. Teach Greasai, Gortahork was everything we could have hoped for and more. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a traditional typical Irish cottage renovated with such sympathy to it's period and yet with all the modern conveniences we are all accustomed to. We are a well travelled family usually opting for self catering accommodation but Paddy's well stocked kitchen was the best we've had. Everything you could want to bake a cake was provided and that's exactly what we did on a number of occasions. The evenings were chilly enough to light the open fire which I was grateful for and thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst the house is in the wilds of Donegal it is still close enough to other homes so as not to feel too isolated and also a short drive to great seafood restaurants and pubs to enjoy an evening out. The house was impeccably maintained and clean and well worth every cent of the rental cost. A truly delightful experience which our little Yorkshire Terrier also enjoyed.’
