This past weekend, we visited three popular spots in Asheville that are usually packed. No long lines, no endless circling for parking—just walking right in.

Asheville is still bouncing back after Hurricane Helene hit just 2.5 months ago, and while the recovery has been impressive, these local businesses need us now more than ever. Tourism brings in over $3 billion annually, supporting families, small businesses, and the entire community.

So if you’re looking for a place to visit, Asheville’s still wonderfully weird & ready for you!

A week and a day into volunteering and i think we've delivered to maybe 100 people for water and just general checkups. Kelly Morris is friend for life and it's really hard when you're here trying to find the "right" place to be - everyone needs so much help.
All my good friends who have sent me $ to help people when i see, first hand, who needs it... God bless you!!!! Beth, Petra, Dandy, John, JoAnne and many more (who asked me not to mention) you have all made a difference - you've made people cry just knowing someone cares.... Together we have helped. I have a week n half more - I'm just glad I'm healthy enough to do this. Giving love and feeling loved❤️

It’s been three weeks since Tropical Storm Helene, and our five mountain communities—Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Canton, Clyde, and Lake Junaluska—are making incredible progress! 💪

We’re happy to announce that Hwy 276, NC 215 are now open for safe and careful drives, offering stunning fall views.🍁 Additionally, the Pisgah National Forest will reopen the Pisgah Ranger District on Friday, October 18. However, some routes like the Blue Ridge Parkway and Cataloochee Valley remain closed—check DriveNC.gov for updates and drive safely.
