What does "organic, non-toxic or natural art supplies mean?

Organic art supplies, Non-Toxic art supplies, Natural art supplies DO NOT mean the same thing.

Organic art supplies are usually made with ingredients that are biodegradable and pure ingredients. Simply stated, ingredients grown without pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms or without ionizing radiation.

Non-Toxic art supplies, implies that the products have been tested by a toxicologist and are not harmful to your child's health if ingested or absorbed.

Natural art supplies are generally made with ingredients like fruits, vegetables, flowers or seeds.
All these types of art supplies are currently available on the market today. Always read your labels to ensure the safety of your child's health. eco-green art teacher, Spramani E'Laun

Many studies have been documented how children from ages two years through ten years of age have healthy brain development by being involved in visual arts such as drawing and painting and other forms of art. It has been said, art stimulates high levels of myelination in the brain. Simply put (neuroscience stuff) good neural circuits working faster. Cognitive, motor and sensory being effected by these art activities in a very positive way. Eco art teacher, Spramani E'laun
