Well, there still are a couple punch list items to do (ahem- connect the dishwasher and disposal please!) but we’re basically back in action after a long and painful 7 month shut down to renovate. We’ll start taking reservations for October.
I know we’re not the only ones. Renovation projects are taking impossibly long right now. This has been a very frustrating time, waiting and waiting for supplies and people to show up. Especially in a mountain town where “they’ll get around to it when they can”. 😑 But it feels so good to look around this house and know how far we’ve come since we bought it in June 2020. No more projects for now. I wouldn’t be able to handle the stress. 😆 But we hope to host you this winter and in the coming years! Cheers! 🥂

How it started ➡️ How it’s going

Two years ago on Mother’s Day we drove up to Pinetop to look at houses. We had this specific one in mind, decided we wanted it and made an offer. It’s been just two years and we’re currently finishing up our last planned renovation project. The kitchen is completely torn out and our cabinets are no where to be found 😬 (lost in transit somewhere) but we’ve got high hopes they’ll turn up this week and we can get this project done! Maybe next Mother’s Day we can enjoy all our hard work by sitting on the back deck with a cup of coffee.

CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS >> REOPENING JULY 2022.
We hosted our last guests this weekend and now we're closed until our renovations are complete: Brand new kitchen, bar and upstairs bathroom. We're super excited to get this one started.
In the two years since we bought the house, we will have renovated every room. Looking forward to hosting some guests again this summer!

Sunrise got 17 inches in the last 48 hours... who's ready to ski this winter? We have a couple weekends left: Jan 28-30, Feb 4-6 and Feb 11-13, March 4-6 and March 11-13.
We're heading up tomorrow to take advantage of the snow that's predicted for this week!

On Thursday night, the state's ski areas got much-needed dumping of snow.
