Grand Cayman is known for Stingray City!

I am super excited to meet and get to know everyone! A little about me…I’m a mom to four, proud dog mom, wife to hubby of 23 years, and work remotely full-time with a background screening company. My kids have left the “nest” one by one over the last few years leaving me with one left, and he’s moving in the next month or two. My crazy brain decided it was time to take on another project! Ha!

Anyway, we all live in Idaho in the Boise and Nampa area, are avid campers and explorers. I am most at home in the mountains surrounded by trees and a campfire 😉 Hiking with my pup is my getaway and he is an awesome trail buddy in our area foothills.

Traveling has been a part of my life since childhood. I was born in Boise, but raised in Alaska. We would travel the old Alcan highway often to visit family in Idaho and California forming my first road trip travels early on. Everywhere we went we would explore everything! National & state parks, Golden Gate bridge, Lake Tahoe, etc. Then we moved to the Washington coast and later on circled back to Idaho. I have worked hard to instill the love of travel and exploring in my own family to broaden their world and show them that the wonders outside of the daily grind are truly limitless. Before the kids left the nest I was able to take them all to Mexico for their first international trip. Ummm..1st out of country trip with four teenagers is an adventure!! This along with many other micro adventures have sparked the traveling bug in all the kids, they all have bucket lists now and some have already traveled on their own. My husband who had never been outside of the U.S., and was not super excited about the idea at first…now wants to travel everywhere and see everything. This is what I want to do for others. Inspire a curiosity to explore until it is contagious!!
