The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Hungary have been included in the list of the countries and jurisdictions subject to travel restrictions as part of government efforts to contain the spread of the new variant of COVID-19, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. said Friday night.

The Office of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea issued the memorandum on behalf of President Duterte.

In the order, Malacaรฑang said foreign passengers coming from or who have been to the UAE and Hungary within 14 days immediately preceding arrival in the Philippines shall be prohibited from entering the country effective January 17, 2021, 12:01 AM, Manila time until January 31, 2021. | via Christina Mendez

๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃ ARRIVAL PROCEDURE of OFW and NON OFW ๐Ÿ›ฌ๐Ÿ›ฌ๐Ÿ›ฌ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

All arriving passengers are required to go thru the RT-PCR test.

As of now, the cost of the test for OFWs is being shouldered by the government.

Non-OFWs are mandatory to be tested by private testing center/laboratory at the airport upon arrival. It costs PHP 4,500 and the result will be out within 72 hours.

From NAIA, OFWs will be brought to a govโ€™t designated quarantine facility.

For non-OFWs, they will go straight to their pre-booked accredited hotel of the Department of Tourism, at their own expense. For transportation, you can be fetched by hotel shuttle service or may take the yellow airport taxi that is available in the arrival area of the terminal.

All passengers under quarantine shall stay in the facility/hotel until the test result is issued.

For passengers tested by the Philippine Coast Guard, no need to secure the quarantine certificates It will be automatically sent by the system of Philippine Red Cross to their respective e-mails. Certificate will only be issued to passengers who were tested by the other DOH accredited laboratories.

For those who tested negative and has been issued a certificate, they can leave hotel and go home to their residences.

Please note that this developing situation and these protocols may possibly change depending on the recommendation of the National Task Force.

DAVAO CITY- The most grandiose bridge in Mindanao is set to be constructed for P1.19 Billion after the design had been revealed from Filipino design team Budji + Royal Architecture + Design which will connect Davao City and Samal Island. The bridge is DPWH Southern Mindanao's version of Northern Mindanao's Panguil Bay Bridge. The design of the bridge includes a railway which might append to Davao's planned train system or to Mindanao Railway System. While Panguil Bay Bridge will cater millions of passengers who are crossing the Panguil Bay in their everyday lives, this bridge will mostly cater tourist of Samal Island and for the benefit of growing tourism industry in Davao. It can be noted that millions of tourists visit Davao which makes Davao the leading tourist destination in Mindanao.

NCOV-Free Macau

This is a breathe of hope amidst the fear mongering news and writeups about coronavirus.

Do not be a member of PANIC-demic. Instead, boost your immune system and maintain good and proper hygiene. Do not hoard and spread positivity instead of fear. Most of all, pray, remember that God is bigger than everything.

So how did Macau do it? It is worth emulating for sure. Good job, Macau!
