Beginning August 9, the Disney Dream will kick off our long-awaited return to cruising from the U.S.—with tropical voyages to the Bahamas departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Three- and four-night cruises will visit our private island, Castaway Cay, for an unforgettable vacation at sea.

To all past, present, and future Grand Adventure Travel clients...

By now, most of you have heard that Walt Disney World made a few huge changes last night. This is true. The gist of the changes include:

- Elimination of currently booked dining reservations
- Elimination of all versions of the dining plan
- The inability to book/purchase/modify hotel reservations and park tickets
- Elimination of the fastpass system, in favor of a virtual queue system, while utilizing the physical fastpass line to space guests appropriately

Change is hard.

Change can happen quickly.

Change can, well, CHANGE.

Bear with us, and with all of our favorite travel destinations, as we navigate all of the changes ahead of us. We are committed to travel. We are committed to our destinations. Most of all, we are committed to YOU - our clients. Without y’all, none of this is possible.

We will travel again.

We will make memories in our favorite and NEW destinations again.

In the meantime, rest assured that Michelle and I (Janna) are making plans to be at both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando in the coming months, just so we can give our agents and our clients our firsthand opinions and experiences.

Happy Travel Advisor Day! I just want to take this moment to thank everyone that has allowed me to be a part of their memorable vacations! ❤️

In the midst of such an unprecedented interruption in global travel, we want to give a shout-out to our Grand Adventure Travel agents, as well as our industry friends, who are showing up each and every day. You are appreciated; you are seen; you are loved.

We will travel again.

We will use our beaches, mountains, hotels, ships, and theme parks as our mini-offices again. We look forward to it!!

And it’s inside the newly refurbished hotel rooms at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!!! The changes make the rooms much lighter and brighter than they were previously.

Walt Disney World is knocking it out of the park(s) with these room refurbishments. So exciting!!

I love paying for things I don’t actually get!!!- said no one ever...

Did you know when you book a trip without a travel agent you are doing just that. The price of the travel agent is already built into what you pay. Which gives you the choice of doing all of the work yourself, or paying the same price and letting someone qualified do the work for you.

This year- choose travel agents! Don’t throw your money away.
