Sitting here tonight with millions in lockdown and a lot more time on my hands…I’m looking back at photos and can’t believe I actually facilitated this all by myself. If something gets too hard I tend to procrastinate but with this somehow I just kept going 🤔

I had nights where I sat on the dusty floor with s**t all around me having a cry as it got really hard. Dealing with building issues, budget blow outs, neighbours complaining about noise, water damage, a pandemic and general ah girl you fu**ed that purchase up back to Bunnings you go….

So many times I thought what have I done, it’s too late to turn back now and the world is changing, work is coming to a stop, life has become surreal. You just can’t rip your whole apartment out then change your mind.

Turns out I fell in love and didn’t even get to live in it finished and it doesn’t bother me the slightest as it’s just ‘stuff’ and as cheesy as it sounds home is where the heart is. It’s amazing to think how much effort, planning and soul I put into it with all my personal belongings there to just leave it all behind, just shows it doesn’t make you who you are. It does make me happy to hear how it makes others feel when they stay here. And I will enjoy it even more and be so grateful when I can finally get over the bloody border and come back to Melbourne one day soon for a visit and say hi to the girls at and the legend neighbours at and sit in front of the fire drinking wine. I really miss but enjoyed being part of the community in St Kilda 💕
