📝 Do you plan your trips or you go with the flow?

There's a charm in traveling with the flow, I agree. However it's not for everyone.

So here are 5 reasons why planning is important in travel

✨ SAVES TIME - yes! It may take you time to plan, but when you're finally there, you'll be amazed how much time it actually saves.

✨ PRIORITIZE - if you just write down a bunch of things you have to do or see and realize then that you only have 2 days left to do 17 things, you might end up really disappointed. Prioritize the activities and visits you want to do, how much they will take and how many you can squeeze in one day.

✨ BUDGET - planning includes comparing. Comparing prices of transportation, accommodation and activities can help you budget your whole trip. You can save TONS on transportation for example by just doing the right research.

✨ ANTICIPATE - knowing what to expect is important. I'm not saying to read about every little detail in one particular place. But in general, is your destination safe for a solo woman for example. Or is it difficult to drive there (should you be renting a car then?). Or maybe there are some religious customs you should be aware of.

✨ ACCOMMODATION - a bad lodging experience can highly impact your whole trip. To make sure you book the right accommodation, check the reviews, go on their Instagram or page, ask them questions directly, check all of their policies.

⬇️ 5 questions to ask yourself when looking for your next destination

✨ Determine your mood and motivation - "Why do I want to travel?" Is it because you're stressed out and want to escape your routine a bit? Or are you celebrating something special? Maybe you always wanted to explore Asia for example but don't know what country to pick?

✨ Your traveling style - "What type of traveler am I?" Do you prefer adventure, or sunbathing and relaxing? Do you prefer roadtrips or exploring one place? Are you more of a backpacker or luxury travel?

✨ Your spending capacity - "What's my budget?" How much money are you willing to spend on this trip?

✨ The time you have - "How many days off I can take?" If you have only 3 days off, you might consider a city / countryside break rather than a far-away destination.

✨ Entry confitions - Will you need a visa? Or some types of vaccinations?

😰 Tired of overtourism and huge crowds when you travel? Here are 5 ways to avoid this :

1️⃣ Travel in low season - simple as that, travel when everyone else is working. Summer vacation? Wait for mid-Septembre or go early-June

2️⃣ Choose authentic destinations - we all want to cross off our bucket list super famous places. But you could end up really surprised and amazed by what you can discover off the beaten paths.

3️⃣ Visit places ar dawn hours - if you're an early bird there won't be no problem for you to wake up before everyone. If you're not, then it might be more difficult. But either way, there no best feeling than having a place all to yourself!

4️⃣ Travel slooooow - priritize quality over quantity!!

5️⃣ Think wisely of your destination - planning your trip will help you knowing how much tine you might spend in one place and prioritize your must-sees.
