The She Shed doesn't disappoint in this unusual Florida snow!!!!

The weather is beautiful, going to be a little colder next weekend but the sun is gorgeous! Every year there she shed gets a little upgrade. This year the composting toilet has gone and we are sporting a real, yet water saving, potty!!!!

The shed is open and ready! If anyone is looking for a month of snowbirding or working remote anytime Jan through March any time PM me for possible great deals.

I'll let you in on a secret! They have just started restoring the beach which is throwing beautiful and some rare shells up so the next three months are prime!!!

Who doesn’t need a little time in Paradise..... affordably!

Its an even she she'ier she shed than Sheryl had!!!

A detached guest suite nestled behind a 25,000 gallon saltwater pool. Watch the sunset from the porch while you enjoy a glass of wine and light your firepit. A mile from the sound and about two miles from the beach. A girls weekend dream. Quiet neighborhood and friendly host "framily". We call our home the "island of D'Nile" because you will leave all your stress behind!

Our little guest room/ she shed is set in our backyard just past the pool and hidden behind the landscaping and palm trees. The yard is privacy fenced and there is nothing but woods beyond the fence against the she shed . You will enjoy complete privacy.

So when you think about the she shed think a combination Glamping, detached guestroom, and cottage. There is no bathroom in the she shed - although it is planned for 2020. You will have to make a short walk around the pool into the house. THe sliding glass doors open into an open plan with easy access to the bathroom. In case of incliment weather we have golf umbrellas for you and we keep everything lit. If by some chance a storm brews, the shed is hurricane ready but you will be invited to come inside and hang with the family, eat, drink, play games and laugh. (you can do that anyway if you want)

No worries about bringing beach stuff. I am more than happy to share! We will provide you:

*Fishing poles, gear and fun advice on how to go catch fish off the largest pier in the gulf!

* Beach chairs and towels

*A beach cart if you would like to use it

*A cooler

*nets and "toys" for the beach

*A metal detector

*and whatever else we can come up with!

The pool is a 25,000 gallon saltwater pool. You can jump in anytime you want but it is not heated. (Heat pump coming 2020 for all season swimming) The pool is a custom shape and goes from 4 feet to 8 feet. We stress this is not the ideal property for little ones, anyone 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult in or around the pool. We do require a waiver of liability to be signed for all guests. Your hostess is in the insurance industry and a little paranoid (kidding) but I do understand the gaps in AirBNB coverage and want to protect myself and my guests. The document will be emailed for electronic signature with 48 hours to return or your reservation will be cancelled.

The pool is kept lit, and is very romantic and private. It boasts an awesome sunset that can also be seen from the porch of your shed. In front of the shed you will have a fire pit and we will provide wood each day in case you would like to use it. The flames reflect against a mirrored mural created by your hostess (who volunteers for big brothers big sisters) and her little sister. Of course, Smores will be provided as well.

The shed itself is hidden beyond the pool and behind the landscape and palm trees. The corner it sits in backs up to woodland and the shed is not visible to any neighbors. You are completely private.

Inside you will find a 12 x 16 space with an electric fireplace, airconditioner, table & chairs and a hide a bed couch. Ladder stairs lead up to a 6 x 12 loft with a full bed and night stand with two drawers for your use. A little lamp turns on at dusk so you can always see your way up the ladder. An extra heater/fan is on the loft and a window overlooking the woods and a creek.

Accross from the loft is another loft with a 48 inch tv with roku, netflix, amazon prime and Hulu. The TV is viewable from both the loft bed and the couch. Wireless internet is extended to the back of the property. THere is a wine fridge, Keurig, eating utensils, water, toiletries, games, ..... anything you may need.

You can use the kitchen, keep leftovers in the fridge. If you like to grill out let us know we will have the grill fired up for you. We have beach chairs and towels for you to take to the beach and will give you lots of options as to where to go.

We like to refer to our household as a "framily". THe house is in a quiet neighborhood, 4 bedroom open plan. We are very friendly and when we AirBNB'd a room in the house we found that our guests preferred to hang out with us as much as exploring the area!

We do have 2 little dogs who are barky a bit but you won't be bothered with them in your shed. THere are four rescue kitties who will say hello. If you are allergic - this isn't for you.

This property is for quiet, relaxing, romantic or girl friend getaways. THis is not the spot for loud parties. We respect our neighbors even though our property is laid out to be fairly isolated by the shed. The loft sleeps two and the sofabed sleeps 2. I will provide a twin blow up mattress if you like.

We have been hand building this room since April and as we are still tweaking things our rates will be reduced until 2020 in exchange for your sense of humor while we get things perfect.
