An excellent, historic rental in a great spot in Hastings. Would thoroughly recommend if you are thinking of staying.
The kitchen was well equipped, and had everything we needed for our stay.
Sue was a welcoming and friendly host, and went the extra mile to make our stay special.

We had two wonderful weeks in Hastings and the surrounding area. The pictures of the accommodation reflect reality 100% and Sue attentive and helpful host.

This family-friendly Hastings cottage is located by the ocean, within a 10-minute walk of Hastings Country Park and Old Town Hall Museum. East Hill Lift and Shipwreck and Coastal Heritage Centre are also within 15 minutes. Ore Station is 21 minutes by foot and Hastings Station is 26 minutes.

We spent two weeks in THE COTTAGE. The accommodation is absolutely perfectly maintained, furnished and equipped to a high standard and was prepared in a lovely and friendly manner by Sue - including a welcome gift basket. Sue was extremely easy to reach online, had great tips for excursions and was simply lovely and accommodating. The guest folder is excellently prepared and informative and entertaining. Hastings Old Town is within walking distance. In just 2 minutes you can take your dog to a wonderful forest path and then you can walk for hours or just for a short walk. Our RangeRover Evoque fit comfortably in the courtyard without any problems. We really enjoyed our stay in THE COTTAGE and are happy to have met two very lovely people as hosts.

Sue was an amazing host, she came by to introduce herself and see if we needed anything. The property was grand and cosy. It was larger than we expected it had plenty of room for our family of five. This is the perfect house and location to explore Hastings we will definitely be recommending the house to our family and friends.

Our stay at the Cottage could not have been better. Lovely warm, spacious inviting place. Fantastic location easy walking distance to the Old Town. Many lovely touches and extremely thoughtful in including everything that we needed to be comfortable as soon as we arrived. I truly cannot recommend the Cottage highly enough.

The Cottage is a lovely and comfy property and I highly recommend it for any stay in Hastings. It is a charming Regency period property (with a wonderful history) lovingly care for. A very nice stroll away from Hastings Old Town, Rock-a-Nore Road and the beach so whilst it feels quiet and secluded, we felt very close to the sights and amenities. We travelled with a 15 month old and were completely comfortable (Sue had kindly arranged a travel cot and high chair) and our little one had a great time exploring the property. Sue is a wonderful and attentive host who made us feel right at home (including leaving us some tasty welcome treats and home baked cakes) and was very helpful throughout our stay.

The Cottage was a great experience from beginning to end, with thoughtful extra provisions awaiting our arrival, really magnificent decor still with a very homely, cosy feel. The location is a short walk from Hastings’ Old Town and to country trails. Our extended family all loved our time together in this special place.
