🌍💜🍍 Giving Tuesday 🍍💜🌎

I’m so proud to be a part of an agency that gives back to the community, and lends an international hand as well. This Giving Tuesday, Pineapple Escapes agents have donated to support nine special needs schools in Mexico, and the agency matched those contributions to make an even bigger impact this holiday season. 💜

Last week, I had the privilege of giving back in Cancun by painting and spending time with students at the Albert Einstein School. Thanks to and , we were able to provide a pizza lunch, school supplies, and other needed items for the children. It was a heartwarming reminder of how much even small acts of kindness can mean.

I have gotten to know Abby & Anthony💍 over the past year as we planned their destination wedding together. They had a vision of getting married between the ocean 🌊 and the mountains ⛰️. With over 50 guests to celebrate with them in Montego Bay, I think it turned out absolutely perfect!

What a fantastic week on the Icon of the Seas 🤗🤗. Hurricane Beryl forced some changes in our itinerary, but it was still a wonderful adventure full of unlimited ice cream cones, laughs, and pool time that my family will not forget. Making memories like these is what drives me to best travel agent I can be. I can say with complete confidence the is the perfect family vacation!! Ask me all of your Royal Caribbean questions! ⚓️☀️

My friend worded this so well! There have been many times I have helped my clients through unforeseen events that derailed their travel plans. Protect yourself and your vacation, by having an agent to get you through it, and a policy to cover unexpected expenses. Travel safe!

Two things I hear a lot:

1) Why should I book through an agent when I can book it myself?

2) I don't need travel insurance

THIS RIGHT HERE is why you should book with a travel agent AND why you need travel insurance. The flight cancellations are now up to 823 at ONE airport.

I'm sure that O'hare is a disaster right now and using a travel agent and purchasing travel insurance wouldn't change that.

HOWEVER, it would mean that you would have an agent ready to help you navigate this and figure out your next steps. Need to rebook your flight? Get a hotel? Cancel pre-booked transportation and reservations? Call your resort? You don't want to be standing in a crowded airport with lots of unhappy people (including yourself) and making all of these phone calls and last minute arrangements when you can call your travel agent and they will handle as much of it as they can.

No travel insurance? There are lots of people today that will lose money on their non-refundable vacations that they won't get back. Don't risk your hard earned vacation money to a winter storm (or any other scenario). Travel insurance is minimal compared to the cost of your vacation. Will you always benefit from it? No, just like your home owners or car insurance. But you will be thankful you have it when you need it.
