It's Disney Dining Day for us today! We didn't have much on our to-get list, but we wanted Boma breakfast and Ohana dinner on our last full day, and I got it!

Tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are live!!
If you're thinking about a trip to WDW late this year, attending the Christmas party is a wonderful chance to make special memories. This is a separate ticketed event that runs on select nights from early Nov to late Dec. Regular park tickets are not required and you can get A LOT done in one evening at the party, including exclusive experiences that you won't find elsewhere. Loop it into an existing trip or just pop over for one night of holiday magic.
If you're asking yourself why you should use a TA, here's one big reason why:
Booking online with most vacation destinations is quite easy. In today's digital world, it can be done in a matter of seconds. However, booking your vacay is just the beginning--then you have to make plans! What will you do each day, where will you eat, what does the resort or destination have to offer, are there any special events or closures you should know about, what's the deal with transportation, what if something unforseen comes up and you have a question or need help? I help with all of those things and more. Personalized planning services are not included when you book directly or purchase tickets to attractions through your local Costco or Sam's Club. I always say I can do as much or as little as you'd like, but when it's no additional cost to you, why not take advantage? It's what I do!
I have a family leaving for their Disney trip next week and this is an example of a daily info sheet I sent them. I love making sure my clients have all the information they need (including personal recommendations based on my own experience and their preferences), so that the only thing they have to do is show up and have fun! 😁

Yep--the last Tuesday in January is always National Plan for Vacation Day. Many times we stress over planning the perfect trip and our expectations can be out of this world. Nothing wrong with that but we often find the simplest things end up being what stands out.

Disney has announced that Bob Chapek, who has been CEO since 2020, is being replaced by former CEO, Bob Iger.
Many are speculating that Iger could make changes that revert to pre-Covid operations, such as the return of the dining plan and doing away with the new Genie+ system. While others are assuming that Chapek got a bad rep for doing necessary things during Covid times and Iger will uphold the majority of changes while saving face. Only time will tell what Iger will do, but hopefully it makes the happiest place on Earth even happier. What would you like to see him change?

I have two sets of clients on the move this weekend! One group is going on the new Disney cruise ship, the Wish, for Halloween on the High Seas. The other is going to spend a day in Epcot and a day in Hollywood Studios, taking in the rides and the Halloween decor.
I guess part of the TA life is being perpetually jealous of your clients! 😅Wonder if I can fit in any of their suitcases. 🤔 I'm excited for them and hope they all have a fantastic, spooky little time!
Let's make today a ! What is one thing you do that always perks up your mood? It doesn't have to be Disney or travel related but if it is, that's a plus! One go-to for me is starting my day with a cup of coffee or tea in one of my Disney mugs. I'm a mug collector anyway so I have to pick up a couple each time we're at Disney and they ultimtely become some of my faves. How can you not smile while drinking out of Chip?!

This pic was taken on our most recent trip, when I spotted Max while in line for Tower of Terror. It might be silly but I got genuinely excited. A Goofy Movie was kind of an integral movie in my childhood and I also *loved* Goof Troop. So naturally when I saw this somewhat rare character, I was thrilled.
The thing about Disney is that it reminds us that the magic lives on inside us. It may be a bit childish, but who says being childish is a bad thing? It's actually quite wonderful. 🧡
Looking to save money while enjoying the parks? You can pack food & drinks and bring them with you! Disney parks allow coolers that are 24" x 15" x 18" or smaller. Any food that does not have to be reheated can be packed. In addition, any drinks can be packed as long as they are not alcoholic and aren't in glass bottles. Loose or dry ice is not permitted; ice packs are recommended.
Pack your fave snacks & sandwiches and find a spot on the lawn in front of the castle for a nice midday fuel-up that doesn't break the bank.
