Resort #6 Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort This is my most recent resort I have stayed at in the Walt Disney World Resort - although I would say it’s the oldest one I have resided at! This has been on my bucket list for years and I can explain WHY! 🌴This is one of the original resorts on the Walt Disney Property and the reason this is a GOOD thing is because of location. The Polynesian Resort is located on the monorail line, which is iconic with Disney. And after a first hand experience of traveling to the parks via monorail - it was delightful! 🍲 The amount of amenities this resort offers is beyond the average Deluxe Resort at Disney. Move over chicken nuggets and fries - you get SUSHI at multiple locations on property. Can I also mention that there is a speakeasy bar called Trader Sam’s? The ambiance, drinks and experience is so incredibly fun and different! 🌺 If you are traveling with little ones - or just really enjoy Lilo and Stitch, you can experience character dining right on property. This was fantastic for my family - we had a 8am reservation, ate breakfast and was still able to make rope drop at Magic Kingdom.
