শীতের মৌসুমে ছুটিতে আসা প্রবাসীদের কল বেশি আসে বাংলা এভিয়েশনের কাছে।

মধ্য রাতে কিংবা ভোরে ফোন করে প্রবাসী ভাইটি বলেন, ভাই আমি ৩ মাস আগে ছুটিতে আসছি। আমার রির্টান টিকিট আছে **** এয়ারলাইনের। এয়ারপোর্টে এসে দেখি আমার ফ্লাইট গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় চলে গেছে। আমাকে কেউ কিছু জানায় নাই। আমি এখন কি করবো ?

যেসব দেশে শীতকালে কুয়াশা বা বরফ পড়ার কারণে ফ্লাইট চলাচলে বিঘ্ন হয় সেখানে শীতে ফ্লাইট শিডিউল পরিবর্তনর হয়। বাংলাদেশে রাত ২টা থেকে সকাল ৯টা পর্যন্ত কুয়াশা বেশি পড়ে বলে এ সময়ের রানওয়ের ‘ভিজিবিলিটি’ কম থাকে। এ সময়ের ফ্লাইটের সময় বেশি পরিবর্তন ঘটে।

কোন এয়ারলাইন ফ্লাইটের সময় পরিবর্তন করলে টিকিট কাটার সময় দেয়া ফোন নাম্বার ও ইমেইলে যাত্রীদের পরিবর্তী সময়সূচি জানিয়ে দেয়। কিন্তু আমাদের বেশির ভাগ প্রবাসী ভাই এ বিষয়ে সচেতন না। তারা ট্রাভেল এজেন্সির কাছ থেকে টিকিট কাটে আর এজেন্সিগুলো তাদের নিজেদের ফোন ও ইমেইল দিয়ে টিকিট ইস্যু করে। ফলে আপডেট তথ্য প্রবাসী ভাইটি আর পান না।

সকলের প্রতি বাংলা এভিয়েশনের পরামর্শ, টিকিট কাটার সময় আপনার বিদেশের ফোন নাম্বার পাশাপাশি দেশের ফোন নাম্বারও দেবেন। ইমেইল অ্যাড্রেস থাকলে সেটিও দিন। তাহলে ফ্লাইটের সময় পরিবর্তন হলে আপনি আপডেট তথ্য পাবেন। লম্বা সময়ের ছুটিতে রির্টান টিকিট নিয়ে দেশে আসলে ফ্লাইটের এক সপ্তাহ আগে এয়ারলাইন্স/ এজেন্সির সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে ফ্লাইটের আপডেট তথ্য নিশ্চিত হয়ে নিন।

আর সারা বছর জুড়ে একটা কমন প্রশ্ন বাংলা এভিয়েশেনের কাছে আসে- সালাম এয়ার, এয়ার অ্যারাবিয়া, এয়ার এশিয়া, জাজিরা এয়ারওয়েজের ভাড়ার কম, আমাদের দেশের ইউ বাংলা, বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইনের ভাড়া বেশি কেন ?

এয়ারলাইন দুই ধরণের হয় সাধারণত
১. লেগেসি ক্যারিয়ার বা এয়ারলাইন (legacy)
২. বাজেট ক্যারিয়ার বা এয়ারলাইন (low cost or budget carriers)

সালাম এয়ার, এয়ার অ্যারাবিয়া, এয়ার এশিয়া, জাজিরা এয়ারওয়েজের সহ আরও কিছু এয়ারলাইন আছে যেগুলো বাজেট এয়ারলাইন। আর বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন, ইউএস বাংলা, এমিরেটস, কাতার এয়ার ধাচের এয়ারলাইনগুলো লেগেসি ক্যারিয়ার বা এয়ারলাইন।

লেগেসি এয়ারলাইন থেকে বাজেট এয়ারলাইনের ভাড়া কম। বাজেটে এয়ারলাইনে অতিরিক্ত সুবিধা থাকে না।
যেমন:
১. বাজেট এয়ারলাইনে লাগেজ নিতে হলে বাড়তি চার্জ দিতে হয়
২. ফ্লাইটে খাবার খেতে হলে বাড়তি চার্জ দিতে হয়
৩. ফ্লাইটের সময় পরিবর্তন করতে চাইলে বাড়তি চার্জ দিতে হয়
৪. বাজেট এয়ারলাইনে লাগেজ লেফট বিহহাইন্ড বেশি হয়, মানে আপনি গন্তেব্য পৌছালেও আপনার লাগজে আসবে পরে।
৫. বেশির ভাগ বাজেট এয়ারলাইন টিকিট ক্যান্সেল করলে রিফান্ড করে না
৬. কোন কারণে আপনি ফ্লাইট মিস করলে বেশির ভাগ বাজেট এয়ারলাইনে পুরো টাকাই জলে। কিন্তু লেগেসি এয়ারলাইনের ক্ষেত্রে যে কারণেই আপনি ফ্লাইট মিস করেন না কেনো নো শো চার্জ দিয়ে একই টিকিটে পরের ফ্লাইটে ভ্রমণ করতে পারবেন।

সুযোগ সুবিধার বড় ধরণের পার্থক্য থাকার কারণে বাজেট এয়ারলাইন ও লেগেসি এয়ারলাইনের ভাড়ার পার্থক্য ।

ভাড়া নিয়ে এই গল্প কেন ? শীতকালে যারা ফ্লাইটের টাইম পরিবর্তনের হওয়ার কারণে বাজেট এয়ারলাইনের ফ্লাইট মিস করলেন, তাদের ক্ষতি সব চেয়ে বেশি। নতুন করে আবার টিকিট কাটবেন। কিন্তু লেগেসি এয়ারলাইনের যাত্রীরা নো শো চার্জ দিয়ে একই টিকিটে পরের ফ্লাইটে ভ্রমণ করতে পারবে।

🔰 বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থা অনুমোদিত যে কোন টিকার র্পূণ ডোজ যারা নিয়েছেন তাদের বাংলাদেশ আসতে করনো পরীক্ষা করতে হবে না। যাত্রীদের ভ্যাকসিন গ্রহনের প্রমাণ সঙ্গে রাখতে হবে।
