Parents often refer to their children by "pet" names. It was the unanimous winner!
It was no different for us; our daughter Maile (my-lee) became Maile "Moo" soon after learning how to walk and "Moo Moo" not long after that. It was a name we thought she would instruct us to stop using, but instead, she embraced it, and soon she was known as "Moo Moo" to friends and family. We have traveled extensively as a family; on one particular trip, as we discussed a name for our travel agency Maile yelled out, "Moo Moo Travel!".
