A lot of people ask what's the best time to go to Walt Disney World, so here's my top 3:

3. EARLY SPRING: Weather is nice, flowers are starting to bloom and most importantly, crowds are low. It's warm enough you won't mind getting wet on Splash Mountain but not "summer in Orlando" hot.
2. HOLIDAY SEASON: There's nothing like Christmas at Disney. If you can go during the holiday season—but not during Christmas break—you'll have low crowds and tons of fun holiday stuff.
1. FALL: Three words—Food & Wine Festival. Ok, three words and an ampersand. Plus weather is getting cooler and if you go after daylight saving time ends, you get more of the park at night, which is better than daytime Disney imo.

DISNEY MASK UPDATE! Did you hear the news? Walt Disney World has updated their mask policy: Masks are now optional in outdoor common areas! They're still required on attractions and indoors, but it's still exciting news! Obviously, if you're not vaccinated it's not a good idea to go maskless anywhere, but it's so great to see things moving forward!

Mickey's PhilharMagic is a pretty simple attraction—3D movie of classic Disney songs—but that doesn't really do it justice. This is consistently one of our favorites at the Magic Kingdom. Because you can't beat "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" flying at you on a 150 foot screen.

So apparently a 59 year old man ran from Disneyland in California to Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom—a trip of 2,761 miles that he started last February. Wow.

I love discovering new things at Disney. One surprise on our last trip was discovering the best chicken and waffles I've ever had at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The chicken in particular was incredible. Apparently it's kinda an off-menu thing but you can still get it if you ask (after all they've got chicken and they've got waffles).
