Rise and shine! It’s the first day of spring (sci. Spring Equinox) 🌷 which also falls on my birthday and therefore makes me feel even more excited and full of hope and happiness.

Remember: spring can be really inspiring, even if it's getting a slow start depending on where you live (as we just got some fresh snow in the Sierras the other day!), but at least it's a promise of good things to come!

Monday blues indeed!.. Over the past weekend we got so fortunate to enjoy another winter wonderland in the Sierras (which was probably the last one of the season). The snow is melting fast, the memories it brought us will stay forever! ❄️♥️

It was a long night of mutual brainstorming, passionate debating, silly laughing and making fun of each other’s technology skills - the struggle was real (btw with no help from any graphic designers)… but WE DID IT!! Here is a of Toasty Cabin, not perfect but it’s so ours at this point ❤️

Be it a Valentine’s Day, or any other day in the cabin, this is how we love to spend our evenings, with great wine and cozy cuddles! Don’t wait for just one particular day in the month of February to celebrate your sweetheart, remind them how much they mean to you as often as your heart desires. Is still a thing? Cuz today I woke up with a thought of majestic Yosemite, it’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 4 years since my first visit there. The mountains are definitely calling and I must go!

TGIF everyone! We are kicking off a weekend early with a sunny afternoon hike around the lake.

📍Pinecrest Peak Loop Trail which wraps around the lake with plenty of picturesque views is our all time favorite! You can never go wrong with it: it challenges you physically (you gotta complete that loop no matter how tired you get along the way!) and rewards you with a sweet sense of accomplishment and time well spent out in nature.

It’s an easy to moderate level hike, very safe and takes approx. 2-2,5 hrs. (depending on your pace, of course).

Tip: When the trail is not well defined just look for the special markers (swipe ➡️ pic 2). And keep in mind, the best view comes after the hardest climb! 😉

2 weeks down, 50 more to go!.. How is 2022 treating you so far? Do you know that today is actually the first day of the New Year by the Julian calendar (we also call it ). Luckily for us, this cheerful holiday comes to us twice (oh, those weird Slavic people finally admitting that it has finally come the new year! LOL).

It’s that time of the year when we usually tally up how we did for the past year. And it looks like that with all that holiday magic (and madness!) we completely missed our first anniversary of hosting! We opened our hearts and our home to our guests back in December of 2020, and since then it’s been a steep but rewarding learning curve for us. While learning on the fly all the perks of the property rental science we always strived to provide our guests with a warm and hearty experience in our rustic cabin. We met so many wonderful people from different parts of the world who helped us grow and achieve so much as hosts:

🏆 We became SuperHosts 4 times in a row with a solid 🌟 4.8+ rating
🏆 We successfully hosted over 40 stays (and counting!..)
🏆 We maintained 100% response rate from day 1 with 0.0% cancellations

Tonight is the night… when HE🎅 is in town! We hope (actually, we know it for a fact) that you all have been good this year and are already looking forward to start the morning with a ritual of unwrapping, sharing and smiling with your loved ones.

For now, we just wanted to take a moment and wish you ~ Merry Christmas ~ and share our gratitude to all the guests, their families and friends who we had a chance to host in our toasty cabin. Not perfect, but so charming and close to heart, our gingerbread cabin turned out exactly like the real one! Can’t wait to finish the week and go there to enjoy tons of snow we got in the Sierras in the past couple of days (thank you, winter storm!). And for now, we’ll enjoy the gingerbread version and try not to eat it before Christmas…actually, when can you start eating your gingerbread houses? 😋

Opening our family’s fall season this year @ Indigeny Fall Fest 2021 🍁🎃🍻 What an awesome day full of fun festival activities, pumpkin patch photos and all time favorite cider tasting (they have a yum-yum pumpkin spice seasonal!).
