Today’s goal is to get the kitchen halfway presentable. There will be 10 people here this evening. 🤪
The plaster guys are just finishing up. It will look even better once the “paste” washes off in a couple days and the blue surface starts to show.
Everyone needs friends like this. I called my buddy Scott to borrow a sledgehammer. Instead he shows up in an hour and we use his car to push the door back into place. The only problem is that this temporary fix might be a little too good. The garage door opener actually works and I have less of an incentive to get it replaced right away.
Pool guys are here working their magic. Fingers crossed that none of the tile gets hidden.
Villa 9 3/4
Just got the final version of the Villa 9 3/4 video from my photographer Tony at Skymedia360.com. He always does such a nice job. I love what he did with the logos at the end.
Looking to book a Disney vacation? Don't heistate. This house is becoming very popular. www.galaxybeyondvillas.com
With Gena and the kids around there isn’t much getting done at the house. Today Carter got his Christmas gift - Dive Quest with dad at Epcot. The hammerhead shark was my favorite.
The staircase of wizards is complete. Now to find homes for the others in the upstairs hallway.
Hagrid’s room is done. Now on to the next project.
Ok, I think I salvaged the court. The moving blankets didn’t do anything. There was literally a foot of water in the pool that I had to bail out at midnight when it stopped raining.
I’m about to the halfway point so I figured it was a good time for a video tour. While I feel good about the progress, I’m foreseeing a few more nights working until 1am in my future.
I forgot to mention that all of the flooring will be replaced at the beginning of February when I’m back in Pittsburgh.
Who is the evil genius who designed this bathroom? Seriously!?!?
Sooo close. I have to pick a friend up at the airport. The rest will just have to wait until tomorrow.
Slowly but surely coming along. This is the first time I’ve wrapped around a corner. I really like it. The rows go quickly until the last piece needs measured and precisely cut.
I splurged!
Believe it or not, this was the first time I was able to make it into Oga’s. I can’t wait to head back. What a cool little bar.
Feeling like home. I have to be the only owner who shows up with his own table saw, vinyl cutter and laser etcher.
