�DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1 : Reporting,Camping and rafting at Rishikesh
Participants will have to report in Rishikesh.Reporting time is 7.00am to 8.30am.After registration process is done participants will be taken to the camp.The day will contain camping activities and an 18 km white-water rafting which is a truly enthralling experience. Food and accommodation at the camp.
Day 2 : Travel to Chopta
The distance from Rishikesh to Chopta is close to 250kms.On the way at Devprayag we get to witness the conflux of the Alaknanda river and Bhagirathi river to form Ganga or the Ganges.The water is clear and pure water bluish in colour ,.The road provides beautiful view of the rivers.We also see the Srinagar hydro project on the way. Arrive at Chopta by evening.Accomdation at rooms/tents,accompanied by campfire.
Day 3 :Trek from Chopta to Chandrashila
Chopta is also known as ‘mini switzerland’ among travelers.After Breakfast the trek commences. Explore and experience the true unseen beauty of nature as we trek to the top of the Chandrashila peak.It is a 3-3.5 km trek to reach the Tungnath temple.Tungnath is also known as the ‘moon rock’.It is the highest temple of Lord Shiva in the world.It is also the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of tungnath.
From tungnath there is a further 1km climb to Chandrashila peak.Chandrashila provides a 360 degree view of the valley below.It is a truly breath-taking sight. Best scenario for photography and for artists to make a painting.At this point u would be partially between clouds.A truly enthralling experience!
Day 4:Return to rishikesh
Morning after breakfast we will commence our return to Rishikesh.On the way there will be some sight-seeing and opportunities to take more photographs.Overnight stay at hotel.
End of trip.
Participants can check out anytime before 12 noon.
Participants requiring travel assistance to and from delhi can be arranged at own cost.
