Which states are on the travel advisory list? Are there travel restrictions to or from New Jersey?

New Jersey welcomes travel to and from our state.

However, to save lives and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the State has issued an incoming travel advisory that all individuals entering New Jersey from states with a significant spread of COVID-19 should quarantine for 14-days after leaving that state.

Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning to New Jersey from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation.

The 14-day quarantine travel advisory applies to travel from certain "impacted states" identified as those that 1) have an average daily number of new cases higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a seven-day period or 2) have a 10% or higher positivity rate over a seven-day period. The advisory applies to travel from states that meet either of these levels.

As of Tuesday, September 29, there are currently 34 states and U.S. jurisdictions that meet the criteria stated above:

Alabama (added 6/24/20)
Alaska (re-added 9/1/20)

Quarantine Chronicles:

I woke up this morning thinking about this quarantine and what can I pull from it and this is what I came up with:

Matthew 18:20 KJV - “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”

On a normal day or weekend, you can find me at home, I don’t hang out so when the order to quarantine came down I had no problem with it. As I am home during this time, I have watched every Netflix show and news outlet than realized there were down times that could be pivotable in building my business. I thought to myself that I would like to build a team of a minimal of two or three who are willing to INVEST in themselves in creating a home base business in the Travel industry. Yes, right now travel is slow, but I do believe once everything opens people will be ready to take life in control and enjoy it by visiting those out of town family and friends, creating Girls Gateways, Brothers on the move, Destination Weddings, etc. People will be ready to create memories with friends by traveling.

This experience has taught us life is short, enjoy family and friends, traveling safety, and above all creating another stream of income is important. I believe creating another stream of income and working it now will put us in a position to build wealth later.

Pros of a home base Travel business:
1. Travel and Earn (Book your own travel)
2. Another stream of income
3. Train at your own pace
4. Residual income
5. Build your own team
6. The ability to book not only travel arrangements (air/hotel/car/cruise) but also concerts, on/off Broadway shows/plays, sports games, etc.

The above Pros are just a few of what you can do with a home base Travel Business.

My goal with the team of two or three is to work together in building your success. I noticed so many prior to this pandemic were enjoying life traveling, going to games and concerts, so how great would it feel to book your own plans along with booking for your group and make money as you make memories.

‼️Travel Safety Tips:

1. Download free GPS tracking apps like 'BSafe' or "Trusted Contacts' which allow designated friends/family to track your location in real-time, at all times.

2. Write down US Embassy or Consulate locations & the country's local emergency #'s. 911 is NOT the standard emergency # in all countries. (Example: Jamaica's police emergency # is 119, in Europe it's 112, or 999 in the UK).

3. NEVER share your hotel/resort location while you are still there. Wait until you leave before sharing it publicly on social media. This is why I don't go live when I travel solo.

4. Buy a siren alarm & carry it everywhere with you. They can fit on your keychain & will send out a blaring alarm with the touch of a button if you ever feel you're in danger. TSA will allow these alarms in your carry on bags.

5. Make copies of important documents (passport, driver's license, etc). Keep hard copies for yourself & give the others to trusted family in the event your wallet is lost/stolen.

6. Buy a $3 door-stopper or door jammer & place it underneath your door in your hotel room. Door stoppers aren't just for keeping doors open; they can also make it nearly impossible to open a door form the outside if wedged correctly.

7. Do your research before you travel. Research the country's laws, currency, transportation systems, travel advisories, political climate & carry an offline printed map of the areas you're traveling to.

8. Learn how to say "I need help" or any basic emergency phrases in the country's primary language. It takes 2 seconds to find this on Google.

9. Get travel insurance. It can cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost/stolen luggage, etc.

10. Predators are looking for distracted, unsuspecting & naive tourists. Trust your instincts, make eye contact, use your common sense, pay attention and have fun!

~No Place on earth is 100% safe. But you can minimize the already low odds of something bad happening to you by utilizing tips from seasoned travelers. Hope to see you all traveling soon! 💛💛💛
