Diocletian's Palace is an ancient palace in Split, built in the 4th century. It was built for the Roman emperor, Diocletian, to reside in during his retirement. In 1979, the palace was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in Croatia.
