⏰Disney After Hours is back at Walt Disney World Resort for 2025, offering late-night adventures for guests and their families.

These separately ticketed events are limited to a select number of guests, allowing them to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT after they officially close for the day.

Guests can start their night as early as 7 p.m. and stay three hours after the parks close, experiencing shorter wait times for attractions, meeting some of their favorite characters, and indulging in snacks like ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks.

The events begin on January 6 at Magic Kingdom, January 22 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and February 27 at EPCOT.

So many announcements came out last night at D23 with new attractions and lands coming to Walt Disney World!!

🪞 Villains land is coming to Magic Kingdom! This will be two rides and a restaurant.
🚘 Frontierland is getting Cars! There will be two rides set in the frontier.
🕯️ The Madrigals are coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a new Tropical land! The Casita will be a dark ride.
🐍 Indiana Jones is getting a ride in the Tropical land where Dinosaur is now.
🚪 Monsters Inc land is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a first of its kind rollercoaster for Disney!!

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Disney will also be updating Lightning Lane passes to help you:

Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.

Here’s how Lightning Lane passes will work beginning July 24.

⚡️ ⚡️ Lightning Lane Multi Pass - When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you may make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. You’ll also be able to choose available times as you make your selections.

To celebrate, Walt Disney World Resort is brimming with festive and enchanting news.

🎥 At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights will make a magical return on select nights starting on Nov. 9 through Dec. 21, offering guests an evening filled with seasonal decorations, live entertainment, and a new dazzling skating spectacular.

🏰 Over at Magic Kingdom Park, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party brings back its beloved celebrations, featuring Mickey and friends in a merry parade, spectacular fireworks, and delightful holiday treats on select nights from Nov. 8 until Dec. 20.

🌐Meanwhile, EPCOT will host the International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth, where visitors can explore global holiday traditions, savor seasonal flavors from around the world, and enjoy heartwarming performances starting on Nov. 11 through Dec. 30.

What happens when it rains at parade time in the Magic Kingdom? You get the RAINY DAY CAVALCADE!☔😃 After taking a much-needed rest at the hotel, we raced back to the park for the 3:00 pm Festival of Fantasy Parade. We even booked a Lightning Lane to make sure we had a great viewing spot reserved for us. But as it got closer to the start time, Florida decided to Florida. Donning our ponchos (pro-tip, buy them ahead of time - not in the park - so much cheaper!) we hurried to the check-in, only to find out the parade had been canceled. But fret not, not only were they comping us a Lightning Lane, but we were still getting a front-row spot for The Rainy Day Cavalcade! A shortened version of the parade, this event still features many of your favorite characters, original music, and dancers decked out in adorable rain gear! Park Tip: start “training” a few weeks or even months before your trip by walking everyday. It is very likely you will walk ⭐️ 20,000-40,000 steps⭐️ EVERY. DAY. To help reduce soreness, exhaustion, and keep that magic moving, start early. (She shares from unprepared experience.)
