I just made my Lightning Lane selections for an upcoming trip. It was my first time personally using the new system. Here are my thoughts.
1. I LOVE that I could do it at home 7 days prior to my trip. Not having to worry about waking up each morning, while on vacation to do it was great.
2. There were plenty of times available and the options the system set up for me worked well around when and where I had dining reservations. It knew I had a Yak and Yeti reservation for lunch and put Everest right before that. I don’t like to zig zag parks, so I was happy with that.
3. The price is high, but no different than when you had to do it each day. My Epcot day was $34 for two people and that was just for the Multi Pass. Single Pass for Guardians would have been more.
4. Modifying the times was very easy. I was able to look at other options that might work for my day. Our first day at Hollywood Studios won’t start until the afternoon and I was able to change the first available times to later in the day to fit in with my schedule.
