I can’t help but mix a little bit of business in with my personal vacations since travel is basically my life these days, so during our spring break trip, I took the opportunity to visit Serenity at Coconut Bay. Serenity is an adult-only all-inclusive haven that sits behind the Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa and feels like you are in another world! It offers a tranquil and exclusive experience for guests looking for relaxation and indulgence. Each of the 36 suites includes personalized butler service, private bar and beverage service and a personal plunge pool. You can also set up private dining and spa services right in your suite. I toured the Grand Plunge Butler Suite and it felt like a cozy, tropical home! Take a look! 👀 #paradise #stlucia #luxurytravel #travel #honeymoon
The ladies and I had an excellent getaway in Mexico. We wanted great food and a little pampering, so we chose Hotel Xcaret Arte for our stay. Hotel Xcaret Arte is a luxurious, all-inclusive resort located in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. It's part of the Grupo Xcaret, known for its eco-friendly and sustainable approach to hospitality. The hotel offers a unique experience combining Mexican art, culture, and nature, making it a popular choice for travelers seeking a high-end, immersive vacation. The resort offers unlimited access to Xcaret parks, including Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xplor, and others. Additionally, guests can enjoy airport transportation, exclusive culinary experiences, and access to the Muluk Spa. The resort also provides activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, as part of the all-inclusive package. The buffet was one of the best I’ve experienced and I usually am not a buffet person. This is a great option for couples and friends alike. Have kids? No worries! Hotel Xcaret Mexico offers many of the same inclusions as Arte, including access to the parks. I was able to tour the family side while I was here and I will share details in my next post. Reach out to me for more information on these beautiful properties!
Starting the new year right with a trip to one of my favorite places! Riviera Maya, Mexico! 🇲🇽 One of the reasons why I love the area is that there are opportunities for nonstop flights from Columbus. I also find that you get a lot of bang for your buck, great weather and there are nearly 200 resorts to choose from. While there are plenty of opportunities to sit back and relax, you can also choose to participate in one of many excursions. We opted to visit Xcaret Park since it was included with our hotel stay - more on this later. A day at Xcaret Park in Mexico is an immersive experience filled with cultural activities, beautiful natural landscapes, and wildlife encounters. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling in underground rivers, exploring Mayan ruins, watching traditional dance performances, and observing local wildlife. The park offers a combination of adventure, nature, and culture, making it a popular destination for tourists seeking a deeper understanding of Mexico's heritage and natural beauty. #travel #travelagent #mexico #xcaret
It’s one of the days I look forward to all year long. Our annual girl’s trip! I can wait to show you what we have planned this week…stay tuned!!!
Happy New Year! I am wishing everyone an inspiring and prosperous 2024!!! Today I am reflecting on the past year and how much I’ve enjoyed planning trips for so many great people and I look forward to what the New Year has in store! 2023 was a wonderful year for personal travel as well. I visited Cancun, Mexico twice at the beginning of the year. Spain was a different experience for our Spring Break - we really lucked out with great weather in Madrid and we did some amazing day trips to Cordoba and Toledo. Our family’s big summer vacation was a trip to Africa with visits to South Africa, Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), and Botswana. We also enjoyed long layovers in Doha and Abu Dhabi. After our return from Africa, I headed to Costa Rica to experience a part of the country I hadn’t yet explored and to date, this country is one of my favorite places on Earth. The summer continued with a camping trip to Western New York and a visit to Niagara Falls, Canada. The summer concluded with my brother-in-laws wedding in Medellin, Colombia. We tend to not travel much in the Fall because we are a football family and we don’t get a break from practices and games, but I participated in a Seminar at Sea with Royal Caribbean to learn more about the brand and experience it first-hand since my last cruise with them was so long ago. We cruised to Mexico with stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya. The year was supposed to end with my husband and I going on an adults getaway to Austin, Texas, but one of our dogs was extremely ill and we couldn’t leave him (he’s okay, actually so okay that he ate a box of SIX donuts right before Christmas). I am excited for what’s in store for 2024 and I am here to help you plan your next getaway! Ice skating at sea? Why not?

Spending a few days on the Voyager of the Seas, a spectacular vessel in the esteemed Royal Caribbean fleet. When the ship was built, it was the largest cruise liner in the ocean, but now it’s amongst the smaller/medium size ships. For me, the size is great and the layout really works. Some ships feel really crowded, but I’ve had no issues. There are plenty of choices that include dining in exceptional restaurants serving international delicacies, or partaking in diverse activities that encourages an enriching social atmosphere. The grandiose ship manifests an ingenious utilization of space, exemplifying an innovative design that maximizes comfort and functionality; you'll find everything from tranquil retreats to vibrant hubs of entertainment. #voyageroftheseas #royalcaribbeancruise #becominganexpertforyou
Niagara Falls, Ontario (Canada). It can be a quick and easy weekend trip. We only stayed one night and we managed to see the falls from just about every angle in addition to some of the touristy attractions in Clifton Hill. This area is a mix of Times Square and a carnival or theme park, so prepare for an overwhelming experience - the New York side of the falls is way more low-key! We also did the Voyage to the Falls boat tour, which is the Maid of the Mist from the Canadian side. It’s great on a hot day and you will get wet! #summertravel #niagarafalls #canada #familytravel
For those seeking a little escape from the beach or resort life in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, the Diamonte Eco Adventure Park is where you want to be! Despite pretty much sweating to death (welcome to Costa Rica in June! 🥵) this park offered a nice break and a lot of fun! There are several zip line offerings, an animal sanctuary, and a cultural experience where you can learn about traditional Costa Rican culture including the production of cacao, coffee, and sugarcane. #costarica #puravida #sloth #wildlife #adventure #travelagent
