New England offers so much! Three different couples are booked for this September.
~Couple #1 is celebrating a milestone birthday by flying into Boston, catching a Red Sox game, touring the city and then taking a ferry over to both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
~Couple #2 is flying into Portland and taking a scenic drive through Kennebunkport, Bar Harbor and Augusta. They will watch whales, catch lobsters and explore Acadia National Park.
~Couple #3 is extending their stay following a wedding they will be attending with a few days at the fabulous Cliff House Maine, a luxury coastal resort with incomparable oceanfront views.
Early autumn offers a mesmerizing transformation of New England, painting its landscapes with vibrant hues, setting the stage for a memorable journey.

Return clients are booked! Last year a couple with their adult children spent 10 days in Hawaii and reached back out for this year’s trip. They will start in the Grand Canyon and end in Las Vegas. They will land in Flagstaff, transfer to their hotel, take the train to the canyon, stay two nights in Grand Canyon Village, enjoy a rim tour, sunset tour and then transfer to Las Vegas where friends will join them for a private 5-hour tour and a Cirque du Soleil show. They are packing a lot in but also checking two destinations off their bucket list!

A honeymoon couple is booked! When they were married several years ago, their schedules did not allow for a honeymoon, so now is the time! They are going to Iceland, which is a nature lover's paradise, boasting stunning glaciers, majestic waterfalls, soothing hot springs, black sand beaches and expansive lava fields. Their trip is a self-drive adventure, where the itinerary has been provided, along with hotel nights, rental car and breakfast. The Caribbean is so easy to get to from the southeast. It’s a great destination for families and friends to enjoy a vacation or celebrate a milestone such as a birthday, honeymoon or anniversary. Coming up, honeymooners are honeymooning, couples are celebrating anniversaries and families are vacationing in Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands. Florida is a popular spot!
*One couple is spending time in Navarre Beach, just relaxing and enjoying a little getaway, with nothing planned but sun, fun, surf and turf.
*Four ladies are in St. Augustine, where they are staying at the beautiful Casa Monica Resort & Spa. They have dining reservations at Cordova, Columbia and Raintree Restaurants and one morning, an electric open air vehicle will pick them up at their hotel for a private historical tour. Their week is full of good food and good times.
*Earlier this year I was in Orange Park to attend a wedding on the St. Johns River and it was nothing short of spectacular.
*Two families just returned from Walt Disney World where they stayed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. These two deluxe resorts are all about the transportation options and the views.
*One family just returned from Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure and stayed at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, with tropical wonders in a Polynesian paradise.

In April, my girls and I indulged in our 8th annual spa weekend. This year took us to Montage Palmetto Bluff, nestled along the May River in South Carolina’s lowcountry, between Hilton Head and Savannah. The resort encompasses an extensive nature preserve, two picturesque villages featuring Southern-inspired dining options, a riverfront marina and a golf course. Accommodations include cottages, guest rooms, suites and village homes that all pay homage to the region’s rich heritage. An adventure-seeking couple is ready for 3-weeks in Europe, where they will cover quite a bit of territory. They will spend a few days in London before catching a train to Southampton for their cruise of the Norwegian Fjords where they will experience Mediterranean marvels, the Iberian Peninsula and the rugged coast of the Canary Islands. They will take the Flam Railway in Norway, crossing back and forth over rivers and tunnels, and enjoy beer tasting in Belgium. At the end of their first cruise, they will fly to Budapest and enjoy a few days on a private guided tour of the city before embarking on their second cruise where they will encounter enchanting European countries along the Danube River, including Austria, Germany, Hungary and Slovakia. A few highlights will be visiting Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace and the fairy-tale town of Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic. If you are interested in taking a vacation, the best time to plan is NOW. This lovely family of 9 will be vacationing in Punta Cana in June. Their ages range from 2 to 62 and the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is the perfect family destination to suit the interests of all. Their package includes roundtrip airfare, all-inclusive resort amenities and roundtrip transfers between the airport and the resort. With magnificent ocean views and incredible amenities like sprawling infinity pools with swim-up bars, a water park with a lazy river and slides, multiple restaurants, daily activities and evening entertainment, I’m not sure they’ll be ready to return home at the end of their trip!

Southern California is calling this family for spring break. Next week, they will fly into San Diego and head over to the island of Coronado, where they will spend a few nights at the Shore House at Hotel del Coronado. After a couple of days, they will drive a few hours north and spend four nights at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills where they will take two tours. The ultimate 4-hour private tour allows them to efficiently tour the historic areas of Hollywood and Beverly Hills. The Warner Brothers Studio tour explores the 110-acre studio and the stories behind the camera, where they will learn how the magic of TV and film is brought to life on the big and small screen. You hear about this area of the country all the time, so why not check it out for yourself in person!

The most precious family is in Walt Disney World this week. Mom, Dad and their three daughters are having a ball! They flew into Orlando, met their private driver at baggage claim, made a stop at the grocery store and arrived at their resort in style. They are staying on property, mastered Genie+ on their first day and are making the very best memories!

A daring duo is off to Scotland in just a few weeks on an adventure to discover the land of kilts, castles, and whisky, experiencing the culture, history, and cuisine along the way. Depending on how daring they are feeling, they will discover the world-famous landscape driving a Land Rover Defender on challenging terrain OR sit back and enjoy an on and off-road guided tour of the area, as their kilted adventure guide does the driving. After a relaxing cruise on Loch Lomond, they will take in the Scottish Premier League’s Rangers vs. Livingston soccer match in the Gordon Ramsey Suite. They will split their stay between a converted 17th century baronial mansion and a 170-year old church. A hardworking couple has always wanted to visit the Florida Keys, so in April, they will fly into Miami and pick up a rental car. They will spend the night in Islamorada at Cheeca Lodge, in Marathon at Isla Bella Beach Resort and then on to Key West for a stay at Casa Marina. They will take a private ghost tour, a sunset dinner cruise and a seaplane to the Dry Tortugas. Their time in the Keys provides them with the opportunity for exploration as well as relaxation.

Clients are booked for a trip to Scotland & England in July. They have tickets to the British Open, so we built their trip around those dates. They will play golf at world-renowned courses, stay in luxurious accommodations, tour castles, travel by train and private cars, take private walking tours of Royal Westminster in London and the Beatles experience in Liverpool, see the musical SIX and fast track the London Eye. Their anniversary falls during this time, so I am sure this will be one they will always remember.

Girlfriend getaway is booked! A group of friends will spend the first week in March in the Dominican Republic, staying at the all-inclusive Hyatt Zilara, located on the shores of Juanillo Beach. They will take a 3-hour direct flight from Charlotte, a 15-minute transfer from the airport in Punta Cana to their resort and arrive just in time to immerse themselves in all the incredible amenities this resort has to offer.

How would you like for your grandmother to take you and your cousin on a cruise? A few days after Christmas, this extraordinary grandmother is taking her college-aged grandsons on a 7-day Hawaiian cruise, beginning and ending in Honolulu. They are flying in a day early, which we recommend, and they will be ready to set sail the next day. They will visit Maui, Kauai and the Big Island and enjoy learning about Hawaiian culture through the eyes of native ambassadors on board their ship and stops along the way. With two grandsons of my own, I am adding this to my list of experiences to share with them one day.

Some of you may know that my mom’s side of the family gets together every other year for Thanksgiving in a different destination. There are almost 30 of us and it has become a wonderful tradition that we all love and look forward to. Although this isn’t the year we meet, we already have 2024 booked! That’s right - it’s over a year away, but it’s booked, so we could make sure availability was there for the best property to accommodate our family.
