Three-star hotels major on being the comfortable & functional option for travelers. Expect on-site dining, standard rooms, and solid service, but don’t count on luxury perks like room service or spas.

⭐ 4-Star Hotels – Think Westin, Hyatt Regency, Kimpton.
Four-star hotels are a step up in style, service & amenities. You’ll find upscale décor, concierge service, multiple dining options, pools & fitness centers. Rooms are typically more spacious with premium bedding.

⭐ 5-Star Hotels – Think Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis.
This is the ultimate luxury experience. Expect personalized service, Michelin-star dining, designer interiors, world-class spas, and exclusive experiences. The difference? Every detail is crafted around your comfort, privacy, and experience

Pro Tip: Star ratings aren’t always universal.

Swiss airlines has become one of my favorite airlines! 🙌🏽

They served us 5 different food items and drinks every hour on a 8 hour flight from Zanzibar to Zurich ✈️.

Thursday’s Travel Confession!

I travel everywhere with a fan! I’m addicted and honestly cannot even sleep without one.
Doesn’t even matter if it’s -2 or 100 degrees outside, i know I know crazy, right? 😂😩

But guess what?! Every time I travel internationally my fan just fry’s and starts smoking! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ I need to invest in a battery powered fan!

🙋🏽‍♀️I’ve been called a lot of things in my life, but I’ll happily take the title of resort food critic. 😋

It’s really all in a day’s work because while it may look like I’m just sipping drinks, relaxing by the pool, and simply just enjoying the ocean views, I’m actually observing, learning, and making mental notes for my clients.

In my most recent stays for example, I picked up on a few things that I’ll definitely be passing on to my clients.

Things like:

👉 Which restaurants are great, and which they can skip.

👉 Whether to book the swim-up or go for a room on a higher floor

👉 Whether the rooms in the higher room categories are worth the bigger price tag.

I’m touring the different rooms, I’m taste-testing the food and drinks (lucky me!), I’m checking out all of the pools and taking a walk along the beach.

Having firsthand information is so valuable, it can make all the difference when you’re staring down resort options and trying to figure out which one is best for you.
