So just an update date ship mates as to where Jonah is working, he has 8 days to go and then his home again.
The Skardon River mine in Queensland is located at the north western side of the York Peninsula about 80 kilometres north of Weipa

So Ship Mates, the reason we have been a bit quiet is that we have returned to the work force in Gladstone. Jonah is on the barges for TAMS .. I am a Domestic Engineer (Cleaner) @ Queensland University.. Ya know, I always wanted to go to Uni.. another box ticked ✅ in around about way 🤣 Bat Man & Robyn have taken up meditation & relaxation.. so Gladstone is home for awhile 🙏😘

History of the Bustard Head Lighthouse
Bustard Head was named by Captain James Cook in 1770, in honour of a bustard which was shot and eaten by the landing party. Along with Sandy Cape Lighthouse it is made using prefabricated segments of cast iron bolted together.
In 1932 the original cottages were destroyed in fire and in 1935 the outside stairs were relocated inside the tower. The lighthouse was automated and de-manned in 1986 and left to the elements.
