Have you ever been down to the wonderful café at the Waterside Centre Newbury? ☕

The centre organises a huge range of activities and support for young people, but did you know it isn't run by the local authority?

It's actually operated by the Berkshire Youth charity, and the café is a great way to help directly support and fund all the work they do!

It's a great spot for a catch up with friends or a business meeting, so next time you head into town, why not treat yourself to a coffee and a cake - supporting young people while you do it 🙏

This is welcome, albeit long overdue. Berkshire has so much to offer to visitors as well as residents. Not least a moderate microclimate, lots of beautiful walks, the best food and drink, castles and stately homes to remind us of our history.

Windsor and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead are at the heart of a new Berkshire-wide partnership that has achieved accreditation as a Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) from VisitEngland this winter.

This is great fun and best experienced before the tourists!

🎉 Our huge congratulations to Berkshire Youth for being named Reading Buses' Charity of the Year!

Berkshire Youth runs our local Waterside Centre Newbury, which provides young people with a safe space to access support, activities, and opportunities - while also serving as a vital hub for the wider community.

As part of this incredible partnership, they’ve been able to brand a bus that will run across all routes on the network! 🚌 Designed by Apple Print & Creative, the striking blue and white livery highlights the charity’s essential work and encourages donations.

💙 Want to support them today? Simply text ‘BYOUTH5’ to 70255 to donate £5 - no need to wait until you spot the bus!

Windsor and Eton brewery was founded in 2010 and their beers have won over 70 international, national, regional and local awards over 14 years. Most recently their Capital lager won the prize for best keg lager at the International Brewing Awards, the Oscars of the beer industry. The Windsor and Eton Brewery was awarded a total of 5 medals - 3 Golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals, more than any other brewery in the world.
We are fortunate to have such a good brewery on our doorsteps. With a taproom bar and restaurant open to all it is well worth a visit.

This has evolved to be a lovely, thriving local market.

It was a wonderful weekend last week and, despite the cooler weather, we love being here every Sunday. Our goal is to bring you the most wonderful produce from independent traders and small businesses.

Whether you’re on the search for a gorgeous gift, some fresh baked products or a little sweet treat, we have it all. Tomorrow is no exception and we have a full house of amazing stallholders. Bring the family and meet up with some friends and see what wonders you find on your journey around the market.
