The trip ✈️🛬🚌🚗🏍️ to Benin imperatively requires:
• a health record attesting to vaccination against yellow fever,
• a valid passport,
• a visa. It is possible to obtain a tourist visa via the internet (e-Visa) but a temporary 8-day visa can also be issued directly at Cotonou airport or at any border post.

🟩 Karo Museum in the heart of the seaside town of Grand Popo
A small museum was opened in 2001, where objects and works related to West African culture and animist religion (voodoo) are exhibited. The museum's collection reflects both the influences of European culture in Africa, the understanding of Europeans of Africa and reflections of African culture in Europe.
A new museum, the Karo Museum was opened in 2015, in the old village bank.

Um pequeno museu foi inaugurado em 2001, onde estão expostos objetos e obras relacionadas com a cultura da África Ocidental e a religião animista (vodu). A coleção do museu reflete as influências da cultura europeia na África, a compreensão dos europeus da África e os reflexos da cultura africana na Europa.
Um novo museu, o Karo Museu foi inaugurado em 2015, no antigo banco da Vila.

CAP 290: A Duplication of CAP 110 in Benin

This future project of Laurent Valere, an artist and sculptor of Martinique, consists of erecting on the Coast of Golf of Guinea, precisely at Grand-Popo (Benin) the duplication of the Memorial of Anse Caffard in Martinique which tells the tragic story of slavery.
This project consists of 15 busts made of concrete and sand in triangular form as it depicts the transatlantic slave trade. Every bust weighs about 4 tons to a height of 2.5 meters.
