One of our favorite experiences to live in San Blas is to have a special meal prepared by our friend, Irvin. Irvin is Guna and the best chef in the Islands! He cooks with products that are cultivated and catched in his island like papaya, pumpkin, coconut and lobster. And he does the most amazing focaccia you can ever dream of!!!
Come and have one of Irvin’s feasts with us 💙

This is one of our FAVORITE spots in San Blas, BBQ Island, or as our dear friend Denilson who runs the place prefers to calls it, Isla Tortuga. We’ve spend a lot of sunsets here playing volley, having a cold Balboa and sharing stories around Denilson’s bonfires 🧡

Abundance of palm trees is the norm in San Blas. Coconuts are sacred to the Gunas and one of the most important part of their economy. As a nomad culture, they are usually moving from island to island for periods of around 3 months to protect the coconuts of their territory. Coconuts of course, are fundamental part of their diet and cuisine. Oh, how we love this place 😍🤩

Han oído hablar de las molas? Las molas son piezas de arte y símbolos culturales de los Gunas, la tribu indígena que vive y protege las islas de San Blas. Estas piezas coloridas tejidas a mano plasman los animales y vegetación que se encuentra en cada isla, escenas representativas de su cultura como curanderas sanando a los niños, y pueden tardar en hacerse hasta 6 meses! No hay una sola Mola igual a la otra!!! Él es Prado, y es famoso por la calidad de sus molas!! Las consiguen en San Blas 💙
