Independent Tours: provide a basic structure, yet offers flexibility. You can decide when to start your day, which attractions to visit, and where to dine. You also get the advantage of local guides and their network, which means insider knowledge, hidden gems, and authentic experiences not always available to the general tourist. Even though it's an independent tour, the logistics like transportation, accommodations, and some activities are handled by our suppliers, allowing you to relax and enjoy the trip.

Escorted Tours: Travelers join a group, and the journey is led by a professional tour director or guide and follows a pre-set itinerary with planned activities, accommodations, and transportation. Most aspects of the trip – from hotels and meals to entrance fees and tours – are typically included in the package price. A lot of thought and care needs to be put into planning a trip to Hawaii. Of course, that is why I recommend using a travel advisor (me)! During our discovery call we'll talk about-

✈️Do you want to stay on one island or island hop? As you’d imagine there are pros for each.

🏝What island fits your style? The most frequented islands are Oahu, Maui, Big Island of Hawaii, and Kauai. Each has a unique culture, history, landscape, vibe, and things to do. Think about what’s important to you, and I can help match you with the right one!

💸Have a budget. Your trip will likely have a lot of components – air, hotel, transportation, activities, food. Try to come into the planning process with a number in mind.

📅Getting it on the calendar. Flight(s) and hotel(s) are the most crucial part of the trip and need to be booked ASAP. Pricing for both is subject to change and are usually based on supply and demand. So, the earlier the better!

Traveling with our kids is not a vacation in our book but rather we look at it as quality time spent together where we share experiences with them to build life long memories! However, there are some travel tips we have learned along the way to make traveling together more enjoyable for everyone!

- Book accommodations with separate sleeping areas to give the adults a break and the kids the rest they need. 😴
- Make reservations- whether for dining or tours, less waiting is always best with kids!
- Rent equipment- stroller rentals, beach chairs and sand toys can be rented just about anywhere
- Get proper travel insurance- if you've seen any of my previous posts you know my kiddos like to try out Urgent Care when we travel. 😷
- Travel with electronics- just incase you didn't get those reservations 😉
- Choose the right destination- I can help with this!
- Slow Down! Always be sure to build in down time, whether for naps, snack breaks, or just a break from being on the go! You will all be much happier!

Use Apple Air Tags to track your luggage and your kiddos!

🧳Worried about losing your bags along the way? Place an air tag inside an inside pocket and you’ll always know where your bags are.

👧🏻Traveling to Disney with small kiddos who wander or tweens who want to park hop? You can get one of these silicone bracelets or keychains to attach to their belt loops or shoe eyelets. (For those with toddlers who would quickly ditch the bracelets 😉) To keep an eye on them!

*Note to parents: Disney requires children under 14 be accompanied in the parks by an adult
