I think Disney has the better day to day options (and definitely a lot more to choose from than Universal), however I think Uni does the specialty foods better (think Mardi Gras, HHN, et ). 🍔

Starting my morning with an açaí bowl! I discovered these for the first time on my Adventures by Disney trip! Have you ever had one before? Tell me your favorite toppings! (Mine had PB, bananas, blueberries, granola and cocoa nibs). SO yummy!! 🤤

Everyone meet Lucy! She is a (almost) 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who has not had the best of luck in the health department. At 9 months old she had bilateral elbow dysplasia surgery and since then has had a very large invasive lipoma removed TWICE from her thigh (in less than a year). We are now attempting radiation in hopes of stopping tumor regrowth. So today’s travel is taking me out of state (it’s not offered where I live) with Lucy. I’m always down for a road trip!!

What an incredible day with Adventures by Disney exploring the stunning landscapes of Moab, Utah! 🌵✨

🌅 Morning Highlights: We started the day with a breathtaking sunrise over the valley, followed by a delicious breakfast at the lodge to fuel up for our adventure ahead.

🏨 Midday Stop: Upon arriving in Moab, we gathered for a group lunch at the beautiful Hoodoo Moab—the perfect spot to relax and take in the desert scenery.

🌊 Thrilling Afternoon: The highlight of the day? Rafting down the Colorado River! With Class I-III rapids, we experienced an exciting mix of gentle floats and splash-filled waves while soaking in the incredible red rock views. Our expert guides pointed out natural wonders along the way, making this an unforgettable journey!

🌄 Adventures by Disney: Arizona and Utah-Monument Valley: Daily Recap 🌄

What a day of adventure! We started our morning with a delicious breakfast before setting off toward the breathtaking landscapes of Monument Valley—a scene straight out of a classic Western film.

🏜️ Journey Through Monument Valley
Riding across vast plains, rugged mountains, and towering mesas, we took in the awe-inspiring beauty of this iconic destination. Every turn felt like stepping into a postcard!

🏨 Relaxing at Goulding’s Lodge
After checking into our Hillside Suites, we had time to unwind and explore. Whether it was a dip in the heated indoor pool, a visit to the Trading Post museum, or a little shopping at the Yellow Ribbon Gift Shop, there was something for everyone!

🐎 Monument Valley Excursion
In the afternoon, a Navajo guide led us deep into Monument Valley, revealing hidden gems and sharing stories of this sacred land. The towering buttes and mesas were even more stunning up close!

🔥 Cookout Dinner & Navajo Storytelling
We ended the day with a Navajo taco cookout, surrounded by the warmth of good food and captivating stories of Native American history and culture.

A truly unforgettable experience in the heart of the Southwest! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🌅

🌄 Grand Canyon Adventure Recap! 🌄

Wow—what an unforgettable experience this is turning out to be!

🚘 Yesterday our journey started in Williams, Arizona, where we explored the historic streets of Route 66 and soaked in the charm of this old railroad town.

⭐️ Then came the moment we had all been waiting for—our first breathtaking glimpse of the Grand Canyon at Mather Point. No photo could ever do it justice! The sheer size, the layers of rock glowing in the sunlight—it was absolutely awe-inspiring.

🍽️ Dinner that night was just as incredible, with stunning canyon views and an exclusive Native American dance performance that gave us a deeper appreciation for the culture and history of this special place.

💎 Today we set out for a private guided tour along the South Rim, where we learned about the canyon’s geology, history, and wildlife. Every overlook was more stunning than the last, and we captured some amazing photos (though nothing compares to seeing it in person!).

🧳 This trip is so much more than just sightseeing—it’s a journey through history, culture, and some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. If the Grand Canyon is on your bucket list, take this as your sign to go for it! You won’t regret it. 💙

🌄🏜 Adventures by Disney: Arizona & Utah – Day 2 Recap! 🏜🌄

Today was an unforgettable day filled with a sunrise hike, stunning red rock landscapes, adventure, and a taste of the Wild West! We explored more of the breathtaking beauty of Sedona!

✨ Highlights of the Day:

✅ Morning Sunrise Hike – We woke up early this morning and hiked the Boynton Canyon Vista Trail in order to see absolutely STUNNING views!

✅ Incredible Breakfast-We dined (included in the tour) on some amazing food at Che Ah Chi.

✅ Off-Road Pink Jeep Tour 🚙 – An exhilarating ride through Sedona’s famous rock formations, where we learned about the area’s rich history, geology, and legends while soaking in the jaw-dropping views.

✅ Lunch in Sedona – We enjoyed a delicious meal surrounded by Sedona’s stunning red cliffs, the perfect fuel for the adventures ahead!

Tomorrow, we get to see our first glimpse of the Grand Canyon with lunch on the South Rim!

Our incredible journey through the Southwest has begun! Yesterday, we kicked off our Arizona & Utah adventure in style, filled with excitement, breathtaking landscapes, and a warm welcome from our Adventure Guides.
