Day 7️⃣: The day we flew home!

We had the very best trip, it filled our cups in ways we didn’t know we needed.

All our trips are amazing, but this one felt different. I can’t really put why into words. Maybe it’s that without the other boys we could really see how big Robbie is getting & how fast time is flying by. Or maybe it’s because it was the first trip since my parents moved and the first time I’ve seen them since Christmas. Or that it was my mom’s first time getting to join us with Robbie (as a passholder). Who knows, but we SOAKED it all in.

Thank you all for being here and following along on this trip with us! 🫶🏼 I can’t wait for the next one!

Not exactly the end of my work day I was thinking I’d have, but an accurate one for sure. I’m a “suckaaa” and I know it. Our morning was packed with all the school drop off and a pediatrician appointment for Hayes (see part one) but our afternoon was packed with cuddles for a baby who got 4 shots and won’t sleep. It’s 🚨FREE🚨 to have an expert in your corner! Disney (& most other destinations) wrap the price of a travel agent right into the package price, so you pay for the expert even if you don’t use one! 🤯 So, why wouldn’t you use one? If the concern is that you want to be in control of your vacation, you ARE! If you want to make all your own reservations, you CAN! Using a travel agent doesn’t mean you give up the magic that happens before you travel, it just means you have an expert on your side to bounce ideas off or offer you readiness guides to help you get familiar with things before you arrive at the parks! Splitting up is OKAY. It’s okay if your parents don’t want to run around the parks with you for 12 hours and would rather take a break at the room, pool or bar. It’s okay if sometimes you make separate dining reservations or genie+ plans. Plan your trip with someone in your corner who has traveled with large groups or multigenerational trips if this sounds like something you’d like to plan for! We normally travel as a party of 9 and I’ve learned a ton of tricks to success along the way!
