The Denverl Int’l Airport ATM ate my debit card- and we have zero chance of retrieval.
I always get cash before we travel and this time I figured I’d just handle it at the airport. And here we are.

This is annoying but a minor inconvenience as I am prepared.

*****This is why I always advise that you travel with *multiple* forms of payment. Also split up those payments in two different parts of your carry-on/personal item.

All your traveling companions need one to two cards while they are out, a bit of cash, and at least one form of payment and backup cash in the safe at your hotel. That way, if you get pick pocketed/lose your wallet, or something like this happens- you have other options.

About a month ago, Ripley lost the watering can for her little play garden set.
She looked and looked and couldn’t find it, today, while organizing I found it.
When I went to put it in the correct place, I saw that she made one out of paper, colored it, and cut it out.

Why did it make me so teary-eyed? Who freaking knows. But she’s growing up so fast and she’s so smart ans creative and kind and I am just so damn proud.

To my Wonderful Clients,
I will be out of the office from July 5-13th for my young daughter’s birthday/our family vacation.
As we are visiting Olympic Nat’l Park and staying in a cabin within the park-
I have been informed that phone reception (and especially WIFI) are largely unavailable within our rental and most of the surrounding area.

This is the third story I have read in the past few months of this happening.
A 7 year old girl died in Fort Lauderdale last year with her parents only a few feet away.
We always think of water safety on beach vacations, but this also needs to be considered.

Rule of thumb is sand holes should not be dug deeper than the knees of the shortest person digging**

A 2-year-old boy gave his parents the scare of their lives over the weekend when sand collapsed and buried him alive as he played at a Jersey Shore beach, authorities said Monday. Sea Girt Police say they were called to Neptune Beach shortly before 11:30 a.m. Saturday for a report of a missing child...
