As my little fam snoozes in Costa Rica I wake so grateful.
I made some amazing wishes come true this year!
Half of my bookings were for Europe, and the rest were for Mexico- with a few scattered around the US.
Almost ALL of my clients are repeat clients and they throw referrals for me out like confetti.
For me this is the highest praise 😭🩷
It is an absolute honor for me to see your smiling faces as you share your memories and time hops, send me pics saying “take me back 😭”
and as your kiddos tell me it was the “best time ever.”
My own travel is largely paid for by my TA discount, deal hunting, and airline reward miles.

Even for Travel Agents- it gets wild!

Me and my little fam Made it to Costa Rica!
After an absolutely hellacious 24 hours prior:’

Cliffs Notes-
Ending up in the ER 10:30
PM until 2:30 AM on NYE (simple sickness for baby girl but only doc office open)
One open 24 hour pharmacy in the OKC metro at 3:30 AM that was 45 mins away
Tried to change plane tix to next day- totaled $1k
Tried to pick up script, totaled $850 while the GENERIC WAS $12 all because of how it was coded for insurance.
Cue absolute heart attack as we drove all around the STATE on NYE in the wee hours eith a sick kid when the drunks are out.
Getting to the Airport on literally zero sleep at 5:15 AM and TSA finding the knife I keep in my purse
Departing at 7 AM and finally making it into Costa Rica ready to collapse at 3 PM.

But.
Everyone is healthy. And excited. And exhausted. Please send healthy vibes as both my fellow travelers get carsick and we have a 3 hour transfer to La Fortuna tomorrow. Also fingers crossed for no Norovirus, Dengue or Zika 😅🤣

Few places have more awe inspiring views than Banff, Canada. I do not say this lightly, or based on others opinions. I say this because I have stood in the shadow of it’s mountains, and placed my hand in It’s turquoise glacier water as my kayak silently cut through.
