On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names for the Lightning Lane process. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Additional magical updates include:

⚡️Make Lightning Lane plans before you’re here, for added confidence.
⚡️Choose your experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting.
⚡️Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.

🎁 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets on Sale July 2 🎁

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is back! This festive special event features 5 hours of holiday fun select nights 7pm-12am at the Magic Kingdom.

Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns This Fall, and I can purchase your tickets THIS WEDNESDAY, 5/8/24!

Days 5&6 aboard the Harmony of the Seas

Our two port stops on these days were Costa Maya and Cozumel. We love these ports, but we have been quite a few times recently so we decided to take this opportunity to stay onboard and enjoy the quieter ship - something we’ve never done!

Our kids absolutely loved these days. The water slide lines were nonexistent and we really appreciated the less crowded buffet area.

We enjoyed the pool deck SO much. The weather was perfect and we loved the view. I was able to head over to Solarium (adult only area) and it was beautiful. We were also able to get a quick peek at the onboard gym (see comments for that video). We don’t use the gym typically but we do use the track to stroll the baby around for naps. There are amazing views from the track as well!

On day six we had reservations for Columbus, Royal Caribbean’s original production. It was phenomenal!! The adults enjoyed the older music and the kiddos loved the theatrics!

Tomorrow is our last day at sea and we were all so sad about it!

Day 4 aboard the Harmony of the Seas

Roatan, Honduras

We have visited Honduras twice before but never left the port area. This time we decided to venture out a bit and we are SO glad we did.

Gangway opened around 8:30 and our plan was to be off of the ship within an hour. We ate breakfast at Windjammer (which by the way never felt overly crowded and we always really liked the food). We were able to get off of the ship around 9 and head right outside of the port into downtown Roatan.

We walked about five minutes on the road to get to our first stop to hold the sloths and monkeys. This has been my girls’ favorite experience in a port so far. It was so neat! We held sloths, monkeys, parrots, guinea pigs and met a new animal called a coati.

After that we got into our private van that we had arranged prior and went over to the west side of the island to visit West Bay Beach. The water was absolutely gorgeous there and we were able to eat at one of the beach side restaurants.

On the way back we had an awesome view of our ship and stopped to take pictures of the island.

Back on the ship we got ready for dinner in the main dining room and had reservations after to watch 1887, Royal Caribbean’s ice skating performance.

Tomorrow we spend our port day on the ship for the first time and I’ll tell you why we can’t wait to do it again!

Day 3 aboard the Harmony of the Seas

Sea day number 2! Today we had breakfast at Windjammer and spent some time on the pool deck. We had two fun activities planned today so we stayed dry for the most part!

We got our morning smoothie after breakfast then went to Windjammer for lunch. Our three bigs spent about an hour going down the Ultimate Abyss while our toddler took a sweet nap strolling around the track. Our five year old barely made the height requirement for Ultimate Abyss , and it turned out to be one of her favorite activities.

That afternoon we had scheduled our turn at Studio B, the ice skating arena. This was our eight year old’s favorite time on the ship!

We had dinner in the main dining room and had reservations for Fine Line, the water acrobatics show. It was phenomenal! Check out the comments for some super cool videos. A perk of having our balcony rooms over the Boardwalk was being able to watch the show from our balcony, but being down in the audience was an even more immersive experience!

Tomorrow we go to Roatan, Honduras. It’s our first time visiting there and it’s become one of our top three favorite ports now!

Day 2 aboard the Harmony of the Seas

It’s our first day at sea! We love sea days. We typically get off at every port (we did it a little differently this time) and sea days are our chance to enjoy the ship. If it’s warmer out, we really love the breeze you get while sailing!

We ate breakfast at Windjammer Marketplace and headed to Central Park to get a bit of school work done (boring, I know, but vacations during school come with an understanding of schoolwork responsibilities). Central Park is super calm and relaxing. In the evenings there’s usually a live band at just the right level! It’s the perfect place to disconnect and the shade to sun ratio is perfect.

After school work was done, we grabbed lunch at park cafe and decided to hit the pool deck! Our big kiddos went down the larger slides and our littles played in the splash zones. We got our first fresh fruit smoothies and headed up to play a few rounds of mini golf before dinner.

It’s our first formal night tonight so we went the main dining room for dinner. Our big kids love trying new foods in the dining room! After dinner we got a new flavor milkshake at Johnny Rockets and spent the night exploring the open decks after dark!

Tomorrow is another fun day at sea!

Day 1 aboard the Harmony of the Seas

Harmony of the Seas is currently porting out of Galveston, TX. Harmony is an Oasis class ship (our favorite) and offers 6 and 7 night cruises to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Our check-in process was super smooth and quick. We had all of our documents ready, presented them and walked on! Our girls did have to get pictures taken of their baby dolls because they’re super life-like, but the rest of us had already uploaded our selfies 😂

Once onboard we went straight for the food 🤤. There are a few places to try right when you get on (and a few you might want to avoid on that first day). After eating we went straight to our muster station to take care of our safety briefing. If you haven’t sailed in a while, it’s quite different than it used to be!

Our rooms were ready pretty early and we were able to go up and drop off our carry on items. We like to bring a few specific things with us for our first day since checked luggage may not arrive right away.

We explored the ship the rest of the afternoon. We also registered our kiddos for Adventure Ocean! Our favorite places were the carrousel, the Ultimate Abyss, the climbing wall and Central Park!

For dinner we ate in our main dining room and we enjoyed the rest of the evening walking the promenade and boardwalk.

There is so much to do and see on this massive ship, and we had only accomplished a small portion of it that first day. Tomorrow is our first sea day and we really got to enjoy more of what Harmony of the Seas had to offer!
