Going to Ghana and visiting cape coast Castle was a life-changing experience. Standing at the castle Lookout point was the first place where the idea that I could leave the United States of America and live
somewhere else came to me. I didn’t leave for another five years, but that was the first time I thought about it seriously. I think every Black person should visit the castles in Ghana and Goree Island in Senegal. Have you been to the African continent?
