Lake bled in Slovenia 🇸🇮

What a spectacular place to visit!

Setup for campers it has a designated park up for overnight stops with electric and water, just a short walk from the lake 🏞

Definitely worth the trip 👌

Making memories that will last a lifetime ❄️🤍

Last night we had the most relaxing spa evening. 😍

At camping brunnen, if you book 2 or more nights you get a spa evening for FREE!! 👏🏼

With 2 saunas, a whirlpool, steam room, foot spa, relaxation room and outdoor terrace if really provided the relaxation evening we needed! 🧖🏻‍♀️🧖🏼

This is a beautiful campsite right next to a lake with amazing views and great dog walks! Not far from the castle and town centre of Fussen.

Fantastic facilities including showers, WC, washing up, laundry and all the disposable facilities for the motorhome! 🙌🏼

The fairytale castle 🏰👑

Neuschwanstein was built for the Bavarian king Ludwig II (1845 - 1886); it was begun in 1868 but never fully completed. The king saw his castle as a monument to the culture and concept of monarchy prevailing in the Middle Ages, which he greatly admired and wanted to recreate. Built and furnished in medieval styles but equipped with the latest technology of the day, it is the most famous historicist building in the world.

What a perfect day…❄️

We visited the Waterfalls at Triberger and they were spectacular. 😍

The walk down was a little eventful as all the snow had compacted together and become a little slippy 😆

We would recommend taking the ‘Green Route’ down to the waterfalls and back up. It’s a much easier descent and walk back up. 🥾

Amazing scenery and hike. If you’re looking for something in the Black Forest, we would definitely recommend this spot. 👌🏼

We had the most amazing date night at 🖤

Our good friends own and run this restaurant and also 2 more in the surrounding area.🧑🏼‍🍳

The food was outstanding, we had a lovely spot on the romantic balcony looking out over the idyllic streets of Altea.😍

🦐 We had Prawn Pil Pil in brandy sauce (Best prawn Pil Pil dish I have tried)
🐓 Cajun chicken with mash potatoes and seasoned veg
🍣Seabass with roasted potatoes and roasted veg

If I could of tried everything on the menu I would of done. 😆

If you’re in or around Benidorm we would recommend visiting one of their Shabby Chic Bistro. 🍽

We had the most amazing time yesterday celebrating a family wedding. 👰🏽‍♀️

An unusual photo of us all dressed up. 💜 I (Holly) had forgotten what it was like to put make-up on, curl my hair and wear heels. 😂

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here this week, we are enjoying some family time in Marbella. We will be back later next week with some new adventures to share with you all. 🚐

What a wonderful park up we found last night in Ronda 😍

The road getting to this park up wasn’t built for motorhomes though! We struggled to get down but given we couldn’t turn back, we just had to go with it 😂 It was definitely worth it though. 🤗

Ronda is one of the oldest towns in Spain. 😯

We have made it into portugal 🇵🇹

Heading over from salamanca to pick up the famous N222 at Almendra.

This road goes from east to west connecting three World Heritage Sites.
The Foz Côa rock engravings, dating back from the Upper Paleolithic (25.000 years ago) and the beautiful vineyards of the Douro Superior; the Douro Valley and, lastly, the historical city center of Porto, as viewed from Vila Nova de Gaia.The entire region is protected and classified as a museum, making it the largest outdoor museum in the world!

Testing out the new bikes around 🚴🏻‍♀️ This is a great little park up for anyone wanting to relax and recharge. 🤗 Amazing walks and bike trails for anyone wanting to get out into nature. 🌻 No services at this stop, but into the park there is public toilets and washing up services.👏🏼

We are heading away next week..not in the motorhome but to for a relaxing week before we get back on the road. 🌍

We will be taking the motorhome with us to finish any final bits, touching up paint work, sorting last bits of electrics and whatever else we may find. 😳

Oh how it's good to be back on the road 🚐🛣

A quite stop off next the Prestongrange Museum last night.
With a lovely brisk walk with the dogs this morning, we even put our woolly hats on 😁

The condensation on the windows this morning confused lucky 🐕 even though its about 8 degrees still it's definitely the coldest weather she has experienced in life so far!

Now to explore more of Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

One of the things we missed when on the road....

Bacon 🥓

You can beat a Bacon sandwich on morning ❤️😂

We are 3rd week back in the UK and we feel like we have been non stop, Holly has been working and getting some overtime in, James has been non stop working and trying to get everything sorted on the motorhome ready for our next adventure!

I think its definitely time to have a week away in klaus!

Who else is enjoying this glorious sunshine?! 🌞

I would 100% recommend checking out and their clothing and accessory range. Super soft cotton material on all their t-shirts providing comfort and style when we are out for our long walks. Who says hiking and fashion don’t come together. I opted for a cropped tee with the coral reef and James for the black tee sporting the snake. 🪸🐍

A company which produces beautiful clothing and donates 10% of their sales to wildlife charities. 👏🏽

Luxury at last 😍

We are currently having a weekend stop over Lodge On The Lakes at Tattershall Lakes Country Park in Lincoln, this amazing dog friendly 2 bedroom lodge has its everything we needed!

After a relaxing evening in the whirlpool bath, we headed out for a nice walk round Tattershall village this morning 🐕

Perfect way to finish our 6 month trip off in the van 🚐

Just a little bit of information with regards to the crossing from Italy to Albania 🇦🇱 We cought the ferry from bari to durrës Follow the satnav to the port and the ticket office is just through the port entrance. The booking information took us to the gate wich is 2 miles away from the port entrance. We got there in plenty of time and we're the one of the first on the ship got checked in and into our cabin but we also got off 1st wich made it easier for passport control etc. Make sure you have cash the ship didn't take card at the bar or the shop luckily they did at the restaurant, but would of been miles easier with cash. Also if you are planning on getting some temp insurance to cover you while in albania like we have they only accept cash! The insurance process is really easy €90 for 15days or €145 for 30 days just take your registration and passport takes about 10 mins and you get an insurance certificate. For pets, very easy no one checked anything he got a couple of pats on the head at passport control and off we went just make sure you take food and water into the cabin with you and some bowls.
